This was very easy. Just remove the bottom of the oven by removing the two screw in the back. Then remove the baffle from under that and you of will see the ingniter. The one wire will reach the gas valve, just splce the other. 6 screws is all it takes. Turned it on worked perfectly.
Oven very slow in lighting, then when got to correct temp shut down but wouldn't relight
1- put in new thermostat 2- put in new gas valve 3- put in oven igniter ....3rd time a charm. Now I have all new oven parts! My husband installed and said it was pretty easy, have to take the oven door off and inside bottom out.
Remove oven racks and bottom oven panel cover.Removed old igniter.one screw was stripped so that slowed me down quite a bit! Used a small vise grip tool to remove screw! installed new ignighter, cut existing wires; spliced in new wires( be sure to unplug appliance) tested ok. Reassembled.
It went easy, I ordered the part from another vendor, received it in 3 days and it only took about 20 minutes to install. I do not recommend ordering from PartSelect!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires... And re-connected the same way. Peice of cake..
