Worn, leaking drain hose
It was a no-brainer repair. We removed the worn hose and replaced it with the new one. Only variable was that the new clamp was too big for our fitting, so we used the old one. The clamp was the only mechanical thing we did. The best part was the very prompt delivery of the new part and the help finding it from the rep at the company.

Would not spin during spin cycle.
After watching the repair video by partselect.com I followed the directions exactly. It turned out to be a piece of cake. I found out that partselect.com has many, many do it your self repair videos on youtube.com. I intend to use them for future repairs. Thank you partselect.com.

Motor Coupling failed after 20 years!
Determined based on some Internet searches that the part that we needed was the motor coupling; washer would not spin or agitate. Once I figured out how to removed the cover (by the way, one of the guys at an appliance store told me how to do it), and reviewing the video on your website, I removed the two screws and four clips, dropped the motor, inserted the parts and put it back together - all in about 15 or 20 minutes. It was easy and clean and the washer worked again. Hopefully go for another 5-10 years. Thanks.

Cold water filled very slowly
Looked at the instructions on PartSelect - they were very accurate even though my model was slightly different than the one in the video. Took the screws off the top 2 sides, removed the 4 off the back. Then tilted the top part towards the rear of the machine. The next part was really described well - "tilt the cover of the machine back" - I did but I was glad that my son was holding the rear panel because you really disengage the cover from the rear panel and it is a little flimsy. Ater that, the removal of the old part and install of the new was very simple. I did mark the hot water hose so I knew which outlet to put it on. Once I put it back together and tightened down the hoses, it worked like new. GREAT instructions from PartSelect. THANK YOU!

Motor stopped working
My 17 year old grandson patiently took the cabinet apart and removed the motor. After providing model#, serial#, and motor #, we received a new motor in only two days. He had it back together in about an hour and a half -- and it worked perfectly. What a pleasant experience!

No hot water dispensing into drum.
Disconnect Power, then water supply and drain lines. Remove all hex head screws holding rear panel onto machine. Unsecure white plastic tab on bottom of rear panel by twisting and pushing through rear panel. Remove 2 screws securing control panel to top of machine. Swivel panel up, remove two gold colored (zinc flashed) steel clips that hold panel to machine. Rear panel should be mostly detached from the rest of machine, complete disassembly by pushing water dispensing manifold tabs through slots in rear panel and by removing electrical connections and water lines from faulty water inlet valve. Assemble new inlet valve, install in reverse of removal.

Washer would not spin or agitate
1) Unplugged power to the machine. 2)Disconnected the water inlet hoses and the drain hose. 3)Placed the washer on the front of the cabinet. 4) Moved the washer to an area large enough to allow it to be laid down and worked on. 5)Removed the sound deading panel from the bottom of the washer. 6)Disconnected the electrical plugs from the motor. 7)Disconnected the two hoses to the pump. 8)Removed the two strap retaining bolts from top of the motor. 9) Removed the two motor retaining straps. 10) Removed motor and pump assembly from the transmission. 11) Removed the broken drive coupler and replaced it with the new coupler. 12)Reassembed in reverse order. Wish I had seen the brake repair vidieo before this repair was done. It shows how to remove the trasmission and motor asembley as a unit.

Water pump leaking , machine 3 years old, but not used.
Replaced the water pump. I took this machine outside to the garage on a concrete floor so spilled water was not a problem, but if repaired inside be sure to have some rags for spilled water. Turn off water to machine. REALLY easy to do. Tilt the washer on it's back. No need to remove any side or front panels. Use a pair of channel lock pliers to move the two water line hose clips up onto the water line. Then release the two water pump retaining clips that holds the pump to the motor. Lift the old pump off, set the new back on put the clips back on, push the two hoses on and set the clamps back down. Just be sure to put the clamps close to the end of the hose, if you leave the clamps too far up on the hose, you may have a small water seep from the clamp.

Screeching noise, would not drain at all.
Got on the PartSelect website and diagnosed the problem, purchased the replacement part, received the part in 2 days....very quick. I simply watched the "how to" video for the part, which was very easy to understand, and followed the instructions and was able to take out the old part (found it to be broken), replace it with the new part and fixed the washer. It took about 40 minutes, and everything works great. Easy, cheaper and faster than calling a repairman.

pump leaking
Unscrewed and flipped back control panel. Unplugged lid switch and removed fron/side/lid sheet metal. Disconnected hoses from the pump, removed pump retaining clips and switched to new pump. Reversed procedure, plugged machine back in and everything worked like new. There was no need to lay the machine on it's back as instructed by the video. It would helped pins that hold the sides in place (at bottom rear) where about an inch taller.
