"Door Locked" light always on. Washer would not run
Remove bottom kick plate of washer. Remove 4 screws behind door that hold the latch/lock assembly. Reach up inside the washer from underneath to unplug 3 wire connectors. (This is a very tight spot). Once wires are off, part comes right out. Connect wires to the new part - this is by far the most difficult part of the job because it is way up inside the washer. Replace all bolts. Overall, pretty easy to do - just reconnecting the wires is a pain, but if you are patient it is not a big deal.
Washer stopped during wash cycle and wouldn't open.
Removed three 7mm sheet metal screws from the bottom front panel. The drain pump is in the front right. Removed the manual drain screen to drain residual water from the system. A bucket was necessary to collect all the water. Disconnected the inlet and outlet hose. Disconnected the electric supply. Removed two Phillips screws holding the pump to the bottom of the machine. Slid the pump towards the rear to clear the support pegs and removed it from the front opening. Installation is the reverse of those steps.
Disassemble Washing Machine Panels: 1) Take off top (three hex nuts at back), 2) Take out soap dispenser drawer by pushing on rear tab, 3) Take off front top control panel (Phillip screws) and 4) unplug connector at back of circuit board, 5) Take off bottom panel (three hex screws), 6) Remove large wire spring clamp around gasket, Roll gasket back, 7) Remove door switch assembly screws (3 Phillips), 8) Remove front door/panel (3 screws on top, 2 on bottom). 9) Remove LED light out from back side of gasket. Unhook the two white push connectors along wire where they mount to sheet metal. This is where the wiring becomes more fussy. The wires are bundled with the other wires and need to be pushed out away from others and then unplugged at the end in the secondary control panel. Not a lot of room. Replace with new LED lamp part and reassemble in reverse. NOTE: If you want to save yourself a ton of time making it a 10 minute job next time the LED light burns out, install two bullet style male/female wiring connectors next to the clear plastic tube. Next time all you will have to do is release the door seal, unplug the connectors, cut your new LED light wires and install bullet connectors on it and plug in to the red and black wires. A 10 minute job max next time!
Unplug machine. Remove band from front bellows by prying the spring at 6:00 o:clock loose. Pull back bellows on right side. Remove 3 torx screws and gently pull door each lock assembly out. Unplug 3 wire harness connectors and plug into new latch lock in same order. Screw new latch lock in place and replace bellows and band. Done
Water not spinning out. Laundry still real wet, washer would not turn off, just Pause\Start button blinking.
Pulled off the front. Had to feel around to find how pump was attached. Detached it and popped in new one. Would be better if there was more visibility in area.
Stopped at 10 minutes and wouldn't spin/drain water.
Removed top of washer. Three screws. Removed control panel. Three screws. Removed spring loaded ring which seals washer rubber gasket and door assembly. Disconnect door interlock connectors. Removed front panel which includes door assembly. Three screws. Access to pump is on lower shelf. Remove connectors from pump assembly. Remove clamps on two pump inlet/outlet hoses. Remove two screws holding pump assembly. Install new pump assembly in reverse,
Was so easy to replace the part first take out the lower front cover and then couple screws and also two clamps then assembly back on the same order tested and finished
utube video made this repair very easy! remove front lower cover, drain pump will be on the right, 2 screws hold pump in place (unscrew), remove hoses by using plyers to slap hoses off pump, remove old pump. replace with new one, screw back in, replace hose & claps. DONE!! i ran a rinse and drain cycle before replacing the front cover just to be sure there were no leaks.
The white door plunger broke after 3 years of use. After replacing the door plunger the door still would not close. so I also ordered the door lock part for inside the washer. This was also an easy replacement but far more expensive. A thing to note. If the door plunger breaks you may need to reset you locking piece. and save your self 130 dollars. To do this. remove the top panel of the washer. remove the control panel. remove the spring ring around the rubber seal. disconnect the door locking piece and remove from washer. now use a hook or stiff wire and loop inside the door plunger hole and pull the lock out. if it wont release ensure the white piece on the bottom is lowered all the way. This is also possible to reset with out removing but you wont be able to check the white piece(the lock holder). What ever you do do not take apart the locking piece it has lots of little parts an will give you nightmares.
