Roller glides for drum went bad
After watching the video to repair the glides my son and I began the process. After making the repairs and putting the dryer back together the drum would not turn. I told my son it had to be a bad belt He claimed it was not. After taking the dryer drum off we found the belt to be very brittle and worn. After calling around a shop that sold the part was found. Replacement was made and the dryer now runs like brand new. Thanks.

Dryer would not heat.
Checked heating element and it glowed so I replaced the ceramic gas valve regulators. 4 screws to take front off the dryer and 2 screws to replace part. Couldn't have been easier but I wouldn't have been able to do it without watching the video first.

squeals like a banshee
this was the second maytag dryer i've had this problem with. the idler pulley on belt tensioner is 99% culprit. u gotta take dryer apart from the front, and while u in there use external snap ring pliers to remove drum rollers (2)n lube w/high temp grease.not for faint of heart,or peeps with no mechanical inclination. good luck

rear roller drum and shaft broken
Followed instructions on the you tube video included in the part selection of the PartSelect part ordering webpage. The video described replacing the drum roller and shaft, as well the dryer cabinet / drum belt / etc. removal to access the broken parts on my exact dryer. Individual parts were less expensive on other websites, and I could find the you tube independently, however, the instructions included from PartSelect, quick delivery and professional service from Part Select were worth the difference ! My first experience with PartSelect, but not my last.

Dryer eating clothes!
I followed video, took out two screws from bottem front of dryer. removed door set a side, used a nut driver to remove the 4 nuts holding the front drum panel, I used a 1/8 drill to remove 4 pop-rivets holding what use to be front glides,I put the new glides in cork parts first then the plastic parts, than used my poprivet gun to but in the new rivets. I put it all back together and now no more holes in my underwear!!!

Squeaky drum roller.
First I took the front of the dryer off and removed the drum (of course, after disconnecting the power supply) Removed the belt and then the roller itself. I had to open a removable port on the back side to reinstall the belt but that was also very easy. The videos made it all seem soooo simple. Thank you.

Our dryer igniter wouldn't fire all the time.
We ordered the igniter from PartsSelect on a Friday and it was delivered to our door on the following Tuesday by Fedex. It was the correct part and was easy to install. We now have a dryer that ignites correctly for a $35 new part. Alot cheaper than a repair call. Thanks PartSelect.

Maytag Model Number LD0312 gas dryer does not heat up.
My Maytag gas dryer didn't heat up. So I watch a video to see what might be the problem. After watching the video, I open the lid on the bottom and put the dryer on and notice that the igniter wasn't getting red hot. So I knew that was bad base on the video, so I ordered a new one and watch the video on how to install it. It took me 20 minutes to replace it and now my dryer is working great. It only cost me $39. That is a big savings. Then having someone come and do it for me. It would have cost over $200.

Old lint filter not absorbing as much lint as before
All I had to do was lift out the old lint filter and slide in the new one. No repair necessary! If it was something more complicated, then I would have had my husband perform the repair. When I ordered the replacement lint filter, PartSelect.com was very prompt in shipping the new one. I am very happy with their service!

Tear in lint filter
Purchased replacement lint filter. New filter slid right into place. Since filter is new I just have to be sure the filter is pushed down all the way. I'm sure as the filter ages with use it will slide in fully all on its own without further adjustment. Otherwise replacement lint filter is just fine.
