Unusual Rumbling Noise. Noise worse on start-up
Followed video instructions which were very good. Drum support rollers were not bad, but I replaced them anyway. Noise turned out to be from the blower wheel, which I replaced also. After diagnostic test of blower wheel without drum turning, I forgot to unplug the dryer or shut off the dryer circuit breaker. Shorted useless thermostat cover to hot thermostat lug and burned up some dryer wiring, which I subsequently rewired and replaced damaged hi-limit thermal fuse. Also replaced badly worn tumbler and motor belt. Dryer works like new now. (Throw away the marginally useful thermostat cover which is behind the front panel anyway and don't forget electrical isolation safety)

shieking noise when starting dryer, took longer and longer for the noise to stop
Follow the video instructions, get a mental picture of the routing of the belt because you'll be working blind. Wear long sleeves when putting belt on pulleys unless you want your arms to look like you've had a fight with a cat! Lubricate the tumbler rollers and idler pulley. An electric dryer is a very simple machine that should last a long time. Mine was 20+ years old when the belt went south.

horrible noise
I watched the video which was extremely helpful. I recommend taking pictures of the wiring and any other components if you take apart as you go along . it would be foolish not to vacuum while your in there.

The dryer is old, and things just wear out with age. Me for example..
MOved all my wifes stuff, disasembled the dryer based one the instructions I found on Google. Located the worn out parts. Reassembled the unit with the new parts, which were an exact match, immagin that. Hooked the power back up. (Note: Safty First allways disconect the power source first. And it is recommended to give the unit and the vent system a through cleaning when you have it disasembled.) Gave trhe unit a quick smoke test. Job complete, wife almost happy,(Question ? if it was that simple to fix the Dryer why did you wait so long. Life is good once again.

Male end of door catch broke
First, I replaced the male end which was just two screws and simple replacement of pushing the fastener into the door frame. When finished I noticed the female end was damaged as well. Glad the female part came as well. This required taken off the front trim around the door (four screws - 2 each side) and then the door. The installing of the female end was easy with a little push. The damaged female end was already hanging out so easy to grab and remove. Otherwise I would have had to remove the front panel. Note You need to put the door trim back on before reattaching the door.

noisy dryer
The dryer was very noisy because the blower wheel was cracked around the shaft and would wobble. The repair was relatively simple, after I watched the video. The video helped out a lot. I will definitely use you guys the next time I need a part for my washer or dryer. Thanks!

The blower wheel was bent so it wasn't turning.
I took the front of the dryer off and took the old part out. On Sunday I ordered a new blower wheel and on Tuesday I received the new part. I replaced the part and had my dryer back together within 30 minutes. The repair was very simple and now the dryer is working just fine again!

no tumble action
was guilted into trying to fix my old dryer instead of buying a new one which was my first choice. almost gave up after trying to figure out how to attach new belt through the read access panel before some googling showed me how to remove front section of dryer completely. Once that was done I removed front tumbler assembly and was then able to place the belt over the drum. I mistakingly thought it went in the "groove" but realized its normal operating position is just in front of the groove. After a couple of hand rotations it seemed to align with the motor pulley and guide just fine. I also broke an electrical connection from the door switch when I removed the front panel. I had to redo the crimped spade connector but luckily I had some in my electrical tool box left over from another project. All in all I was quite satisfied with my repair and it is likely that my dryer will work for another 10 years.

Dryerwould not tumble
I viewed your video and decided it was not that difficult a repair job and decided to purchase the part and give it a shot. I have taken the dryer door off before to do a minor repair so the part that was most difficult was trying to figure out how the belt went onto the drivers but I watched the video over and over at least 3 times and finally figured it out. Thank you for providing a video tutorial. I would not have been able to repair the dryer belt without it because the belt drivers are not easily inview and therefore you have to rely on an onbstructed view and using your hands and fingers to manuever the belt onto the driver properly.
