Turn off the breaker to the dishwasher - there will be water very near the motor and other electrical components. I first scooped and towelled all the water out of the bottom of the dishwasher. The drain valve can be accessed from the bottom front of the dishwasher without pulling the unit out from under the counter. There were 4 screws to remove the 2 bottom metal panels. Next use pliers to loosen and slide back the hose clamp connected to the drain. Have a towel ready and pull the drain hose off the white check valve. The check valve can then be removed by unscrewing it - you may need to use pliers. Put the new one on and everything back together.

Followed instructions and did repair before my husband came home! EASY!!!! WISH ALL WERE LIKE THAT!

I looked in the bottom of the dishwasher after browsing the website regarding possible solutions. When I removed the bottom spray arm I noticed three screws missing from the pump housing. The loose pump outlet had allowed the seal to push out. Ordered-Normal shipping on the part.

First off the sitemade it extremly easy to dial into the very part that is broke with the detailed print views. This too saved me money as it was a 5$ part. removing the broken part was easy and was easily seen in the detailed parts views. The part (like many parts for old appliances) was slightly different but still mounted to the upper racks wire frame just with clips and not a screw clamp mount. All in all 10 mintues to find and order part and 10-15 minutes to install. Dishwasher works great!

Noticed an excessive slack/wobble in bottom spray arm. Found video on Part Select website describing the exact model number of dishwasher and how to replace bottom washer arm bearings. Again found part breakdown of assembly on PS website and ordered the part. Received the parts the next day. Replaced bottom bearings on spray arm per video. Took all of about 20 minutes. Wife tested dishwasher with a load of dishes. Works like new. I will personally recommend Part Select to anyone doing a home appliance repair. Again Thanks.

My Kitchen Aid dishwasher ruptured the wash hose on the top rack. I couldn’t find a dealer in my immediate area so I went on line looking for one. Thankfully, instead I found PartSelect.com. I entered my model number (The site told me where to find it) and it easily led me to the correct part and even had a video demonstrating how to install it. It was a 15 minute repair, even with an upgrade, for less than 30 bucks. I will definitely use PartSelect.com again and recommend it to everyone. Very easy website to navigate; any appliance, any part, any brand, any model. I haven’t been able to stump it yet.

Removed rinse arm nut and arm. Replaced the seal, bearing, and retaining nut. reassembled.

I followed the video directions and it worked perfectly. The dishwasher came with the house and I don 't think it ever cleaned as well as it does now.

Kitcheaid's online diagram showed me the parts and numbers I needed - Really helpful. I just ordered the parts and screwed them in, no tools were needed for this particular repair.

With the video and easy instructions, I was able to fix it in less than 15 minutes.

I unscrewed the middle arm assembly that was already attached. Then I simply screwed the new middle arm spray piece that I ordered. It is a very simple fix. The new kit (that is all one piece) is ver easy to install.
