The top spinner fell off and would not snap back on
Bought a replacement spinner which came with the litte round connector piece. The connector piece had worn down (the spinner probably got caught on a tall glass or pot). Anyway, for ease of access, you remove the bottom and top racks, unscrew two screws (one on the top and one on the back of the dishwasher that holds the water piping). Then pull the water piping assembly down from the top until you can remove the round connecting piece. The tip of mine was worn off which is why the spinner would not stay on. Once you replace the round connector piece, snap the spinner into it, put the screws back in and you are done. Very easy fix for about $22 including S&H.

Door was noisy
I followed the instructions from the partselect video and replaced the damaged door balance part. I ended up having to adjust the plastic wheel piece because the new strings were shorter than the original but luckily there was another screw hole to accommodate the shorter strings. I did replace both sides. Overall, this was a very easy repair thanks to partselect and now my door works great. I will definitely be using this site in the future!

No power to control panel on the door
First checked my house cb's. Then visited this site and found in troubleshooting guide that the problem was 6x% likely the thermal fuse; location was shown on parts guide. Used my multimeter to verify that fuse was open. Order new one from your site. Installed after receipt and all is well. Most difficult part was getting the door panels in position to reinstall sheetmetal screws. Hope this helps.

Door balance link cable broke
Disconnected the water and drain lines, pulled the washer out of the cabinet cavity. At that point, the work area was fully exposed. Then just a matter of removing the old assembly and replacing with the new. Stretching the spring so the other end of the cable could be attached to the door was the only part of the project that took a little bit of effort. It took more time to disconnect the water lines and pull out the washer than replacing the broken parts on each side of the door.

Leaking drain hose
Easy to replace this drain hose, but being the section that attaches to the pump, the dishwasher had to be removed from under the counter. Most of the time spent was disconnecting the supply, drain and electric then removing the dishwasher. Once out, the drain hose replacement should take 5 minutes or less. Very straightforward. Please remember to shut off electricity and water supply to the dishwasher before starting this project!

When opened the door had to be carefully lowered, would not stay up!
Removed screws from under counter supports with Phillips head. With small flat head screwdriver removed the bottom plate, adjusted the support feet upwards . Very gently pulled out dishwasher from cabinet , about 2-2.5 feet exposing lower sides and springs and old balance parts. With a nut driver 5/16 removed first side old part keeping nut screw, placed the dual wheel part keyhole notch into the hole and positioned the bottom and loosely secured the lower portion back into the hole with the nut screw. Then with the cord replaced the narrow part over the metal holder the way the old one was. Carefully feed the cord over /under as before , tighten the nut screw into place take the ring end and and hook it on to the spring that is very tight and hard to pull into place. This was the hardest step as I needed help because of the heavy duty spring. My 7yo granddaughter hooked the ring as I need both hands on the spring. I checked the part for being screwed in correctly , then repeated on the other side. Carefully pushed the appliance back into cabinet making sure any cord, hoses had not been pinched, adjusted the front support legs back into place , secured the upper braces, replaced the lower plate and it is perfect! It works better than after I had a handy man do this a few years ago. I am a 64 yo woman!
