found manuel online to trouble shoot once I took the front panel off I could see the sesor for the water side had two broken pegs that held it in place. No Ice for several months
The ice maker in my fridge had been broken for months. I kept passing it off thinking it would be an expensive and time consuming repair. However, I finally decided to do a little research and found your website. I ordered the part on Friday and got it on Saturday! I couldn't believe how fast the shipping was! The instructions that came with the ice maker and the video on the website made this job a breeze! I had ice in a couple of hours! Thank you SO MUCH! I can now get rid of those pesky ice trays and free up freezer space.

Ice maker quit working
The online video was great in showing you how to make the repair. My existing ice maker is hard wired so it was important the wiring order lined up. I had ordered another ice maker from another company which did not match up and I sent it back. The ice maker from PartSelect matched up exactly. Took out the 2 screws on top and 1 on bottom with nut driver. Disconnected electrical connection with screwdriver as the video shows. Installed bar from old ice maker as the video shows and made electrical connection and installed 3 screws. My wife held the flashlight and afterward her comment was "Only 1 wiring connection and 3 screws! What took you so long?" The actual replacement repair took less than 10 minutes. Thanks PartSelect!!
