I used the Installation Instructions on your web page and it was easy.

killed power-gently pried out old switch using two screw drivers-replaced faulty switch-and tested OK.

I used the repair video supplied on line. I followed it step by step and the repair was made quickly and easily. Best of all I saved the expensive cost of a repairman.

Many thanks for the help in repairing my GE refrigerator. From the web site and videos, I determined the problem with the flapper on my ice maker was a bad solenoid. I ordered the part from you then followed the step by step instructions to install it. It made what seemed to be an intimidating job rather easy.

I removed the interior back of the fridge and used a hairdryer to defrost the enormous amount of ice that had built up. After all the ice was gone, it became evident that the defrost heater was the problem - the glass tube had turned black. I removed the old part and its wires and replaced with the new part. It was a bit tricky with the wires but I made sure to pay attention how to put them back when I removed the old ones.

Remove the shelves then remove the back by removing the two screws at the top of the panel. Locate the temperature sensor on top of the coil. Cut the wires and replace with the new one. Use wire nuts and electrical tape to reconnect the wires.

removed evaporator coil cover inside freezer, defrosted the coil with blow dryer, cut wires to defrost thermostat, removed old defrost thermostat, wired new one to old wires with wire nuts and then taped with black electrical tape, reattached defrost thremostat to evaporator coil, easy job, the thing that took the longest was thawing out all the ice

The problem began when freezer thawed and could not keep food frozen. Initially, I thought the issue was the defrost heater (because I had seen similar symptoms previously and resolved the issue with a new defrost heater)and I replaced that part with a spare that I had puchased previously. The issue was still unresolved and I noticed the evaporator fan was not running in the freezer because it would not turn on when I closed the door. I checked to make sure I could hear the compressor working (and it was)and concluded that the evaporator fan motor was not running. I ordered the part and found a YouTube DIY video on how to replace it. While I was at work, my fiancee took it upon herself to watch the installation video and install the new evaporator fan motor and all is well.

Went to GE website and researched the problem for the model, determined that it was 90% sure it was the Ice maker, I ordered it and it arrived the next day, installed it and it began working immediately,

Took apart freezer door dispenser mechanism and replaced solenoid assembly in its entirity. Easy fix once the fix to the problem was identified.

Pull ice tray out, empty it, let it warm up. Unscrew two top screws, manipulate with ease on the separator (no screws attached there), pull separator out upwards and at the same time, pull out auger with ease. Pry lock washer off on auger, separate piece by piece in order. With new auger in place, reverse in order to put all back in together, finally place lock washer in groove and snap it to lock. The deflector pin was pulled out with pliers. With new deflector in place, push pin back in with pliers, too. Ease auger back into the separator and slide down the separator with ease. Screw two screws back on.

i followed the repair video that was included with my order. i could have done it without the video, then again i could have made a mess out of the repair. the video was greatly appreciated and i played it back and forth until the auger was fixed. frig works like new........... thanks. you got my loyalty for a long time.

I watched the videos before I received my parts. I thawed the freezer out, removed the panel in the back. Cut the wires to the defrost thermostat and spliced the new one on with wire nuts and tape. Then I did the same for the temp. sensor. Put it all back together. Now the freezer isn't running all the time. I set the temperatures back to normal and it seams to be fine.

Replace old auger with new one.
