I removed the handle from the door, replaced the old one with the new one............. 1, 2, 3, just that easy. The replacement part arrived very quickly and the price could not be beat. Would I use them again...........Yes!

My son broke the drawer handle of our stove a few years ago. It took me a while to get this repaired because the first company we ordered from shipped the wrong product to us and did not allow us to do a return! I had to bring the new handle to the Hardware store and have them pick out screws that would work. The only problem is that I live 12 miles one way from the Hardware store. My advise is to order scews when ordering the handle.

The bake part of the oven was not igniting all the time . I checked the website and they don't list the igniter separately from the burner tube. This part is the exact fit for the igniter. There is no need to buy the whole kit if the igniter is all you need. it will fit right on the burner tube with no modification at all. Part number PS897264 is the igniter and burner tube. Part number PS898618 is just the ignitor.

Removed door per instructions in manual. Removed racks and storage drawer per manual. Removed two phillips head screws holding bottom pan and removed pan. Removed two phillips head screws holding igniter tube (#12) and withdrew tube from the cavity. Removed two phillips head screws holding igniter and bracket to the tube. Unplugged elcetrical connection to igniter and installed new igniter in reverse order. Too bad the igniter wasn't the problem.

This is a built-in oven, so the biggest problem was figuring out how to remove it from the cabinet. The solution turned out to be removing the cooktop above it and unscrewing two screws that connected the oven to the inside of the cabinet. The other problem was removing BOTH metal backs from the oven. The first one was easy. The second one wasn't. The old socket was recessed behind the second back, making it virtually impossible to access the metal "wings" that hold it in place, so I ended up pulling out the socket assembly from inside the oven with pliers.

Looked up on-line the error problem and what part I needed to fix it. Part arrived very quickly and everything was going fine until I realized the stove had two sensors. Replaced the top sensor now I am getting an error on the bottom sensor. Maybe I replaced the wrong one. I will replace the bottom sensor with the one I took out and see if that does the trick. Remove the plug from outlet then shutoff gas. Remove the 10 screws hold the back panel of the oven. Unclip the connector of the temperature sensor from the main line. Pull the sensor straightout. Reverse the process install the new sensor. Couldn't be any easier. Oven working great. Calling in a reapairman would have cost $200 for parts and labor.

Took the old one out and replaced it with the new one, fits perfect.

Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.

Replaced bake igniter only as recommended by others, no need to buy the whole unit. The bottom screw is difficult to access, use a 1/4 inch socket set with 8 mm socket. Advice to remove bottom storage drawer to make sure wire is connected to the igniter. So far it works fine.

So, after several years of it bothering me, I decided to replace the oven panel. I ordered it one day and it arrived the very next day. It was an easy job to replace. Just remove two screws in back and replace the panel. While I was at it I also replaced the racks. Now I have a brand new oven,thanks to PartsSelect!

The repair was VERY simple....2 screws, remove the broken handle, put now one in place, put back the 2 screws... done!! What I want other to know... is who with about 6 clicks from my home pc, I had the exact part i needed, ordered!!! I was dreading ordering this part so much because of all the hassle I have in getting to a website to order, and all the crap that goes with finding, the part....the ordering the part. This site was SOOOOO cool!! The handle had been broke for almost a year, and didn't want to replace it because of the usual hassle that goes with 'The Hunt". If I had know that Parts Select was so good about this, I would have had the new one installed 3 days after the original handle broke!! And shipping was SO FAST!!
