Handle broke during use.
First I removed the cover plate over the front of the dish washer. I then removed the old handle and disconnected the 4 wires one at a time, hooking them to the new handle one at at time, in the correct pattern. Positioned the new handle and screwed in the 2 screws needed to secure the handle back in place. A very simple replacement.

Door latch broke
First, I unplugged dishwasher. Second, I removed the top 6 screwson inside of door with a phillips screwdriver. Next, I removed the two star screws that held the latch. I then unplugged the wires from old latch and attached to new latch assembly, put it back and tightened all screws, plugged the dishwasher in and tested the latch. It was very simple using instructions listed on the website from other repair stories.

Broken Latch
Removed 6 screws to remove housing.
Removed 2 screws to remove old latch disconnected 4 female plug connectors.
Reconnect the 4 plugs to the new switch & re-mounted it with the 2 screws. Slight misalignment (which may have been present before the repair) was corrected by bumping the metal latch receiver withe the handle of the screw driver just a bit. Works perfectly.

Broken latch to open dishwasher
I unscrewed the front panel by using the screws at the top, inside of the dishwasher (I also unscrewed the screws at the bottom, inside, but that wasn't necessary). It took a little coaxing, but I gently pulled one wire at a time from the old unit and replaced that wire before going to the next. After all wires were attached, I screwed the new unit to the body. Really easy. I just was puzzled why I received instructions to replace the gasket and none for the dishwasher latch.
