water not dispensing from refrigerator
Popped out the old filter from the refrigerator bottom. Removed new filter from the box and pulled off the end caps. Put the end cap on the new filter, aligned the filter( it will only go in one way) with alignment slides and pushed the filter in until I heard it (click) into place. Pushed in the water dispenser tab for a few seconds, but nothing happened. So I waited until the next day and pushed the dispenser in and water flowed out. Repeated this process until the water ran clear. Turned the ice maker back on and a few hours later ice was popping out. Wife's happy, I'm a hero!

Ice Bin Auger Drum Broke
very simple ! Just follow the instruction video on parts select . It don't get any more simple than that ! Learned a lot just watching that video . I picked up from that how to install an ice maker also . I cant believe I paid a repairman $100 last year to install an ice maker on my refrigerator either . I could have done it myself for 1/3 the cost and still had a brand new ice maker . I asked him about fixing the ice bin then he said they was no way . Said the best thing for me to do was try to find a used one would probably cost me about $100 . I think the total cost for the parts was about $30 here . And BTW takes about 2 min to change out an ice maker . I will never call another repair man to come into my house again unless they do away with the internet .

would not make ice
old icemaker, took out bottom screw, loosened top 2 screws (do not take out) lift and lay down, take off front cover, a little clip will let you disconnect power cord. take old icemaker out of fridge. take off the wire to lift to cut off ice and put on new icemaker. plug power into new icemaker and hang on top screws. wait about 45 mins. and the new icemaker will make a cycle with no water or ice. at this point the new icemaker will fill with water and damn in about an hour or hour and a half you have ice. Oh, don't forget to put the ice bucket back in freezer. now tighten top screws. haven't put bottom screw back in yet.

Refrigerator door was not closing "automatically", over time the plastic cams had worn out.
Easy fix. Used this a teaching opportunity for my 18 yr old son and had him do all the work. The cams have like little inclines that as the meet close the door with like a over center effect. Empty the door. Just undo the top plate 5/16 screws and lift door off. On bottom of door change the 1 piece lower door closing cam and on the bottom post plate change the door cam. add a little grease and reverse the process to install. later in life my son will know how to make this repair.....easy to do folks.

In the Past my husband would deal with it but he is no longer alive to do this kind of stuff. Thank goodness you sent the video along with all the instructions as i had my laptop on the table and followed stopped it and followed it again. I actually did this . Ice maker was leaking
Turn off power & water, using a nut driver removed lower screw, loosen the 2 top screws. Lifted unit up and out a little to remove power cable. Removed lever and installed on new unit. Hooked up power cable install it over the 2 top screws, install bottom screw and tighten all 3. Turn on power and water, lowered bar. It started making ice in about an hour. NO LEAKS. Did not have to adjust water level. Took me less than ten min to complete.

refrigerator would not run
The Sears man came out and told me it was the thermostat that needed to be replaced and it would cost $321 plus tax. I went on youtube and watched the Partselect video several times and decided to order the part after seeing how easy it was to install. Total cost $65. I put the laptop on the counter and watched it as I installed it. It helped that I could go back and watch a certain part if there was a problem. But I had no problems and installed it in 20 minutes. Very, very simple to do. Of course I had to pay $75 to the Sears man but I saved about $200 . Thanks Partselect.

Ice dispenser on door was disfunctional
The hardest part was figuring out how to get the front panel escutcheon panel off. With the putty knife under the bottom flange, you need to push down with some effort on the part of the flange where the drip pan slides in and twist the putty knife to disengage the locking tab. Once the panel is off, the rest of the job is easy with the aid of your video. Everything works like new...thanks.
