Unit was making a grinding noise when pumping out water
Opened lower panel to better locate noise ( ran in drain mode to pinpoint ). Removed lower tray & started taking apart , found the discharge pump housing had broken on the inside. Ordered parts , they came in a few days & put back together. All works fine & it runs quieter than before it broke

leak @ bottom of door
First replaced the door seal, that slowed it down substantially, but not totally. Next replaced inner door foam insulation strip and that took care of it, no more leaks. There was some corrosion evident after I scraped off the old strip, sanded that smooth with emery sandpaper and then installed new strip. Job done!

Spray arm fell out of top of washer because retainer had failed.
Watched on site video. Very helpful as it explained how to remove the upper and lower baskets to get at the upper cabinet nut. How to remove the nut and use a socket to compress the retainer rams so they would pass easily through the hole in the spray arm. Retainer nut replacement 1 minute. Removing and replacing baskets in machine another 5 to 10 minutes.

Water leaking form left front of door.
Received the parts within two days. Watched the video and it explained everything. Found it hard to believe how easy it would be, and it was very easy. Cleaning up the door in preparation to installing the new gasket took longer than the gasket installation. The gasket just pressed in the channel, frankly I was surprised that the door inner shield did not have to be removed. The water deflector just pulled off and slipped on (probably took 30 secends. Ran the dishwasher a few times, and no leaks. They had cited that the majority of leaks were due to the gasket, and it was right on. Like the dishwasher and can go for another 12 years.

I think anytime the motor needs to come out of an older dishwasher, it would be wise to replace the main gasket that goes around the motor at the same time.

The Rubber Around The Door Is Corroded Causing Water To Leak,
Well, I haven't gotten the right part yet. I'm such an idiot that I've ordered the wrong part twice now. So, figuring that 3's a charm, I'm going to try to get the right part now. I do have to say that part select has made it amazingly easy to return the parts. And both of the first 2 (wrong) parts arrived within 2 days of ordering. I'm pretty impressed with this company. Now, if I can just order the right part, I can tell you how the installation went!
