When opening door the microwave would turn on.
Watched How to repair a Microwave that turns on when the door is opened Video on the web. From this took a shot at the switch was the problem. When I removed the switch it was defective. The small button was in and when you turned the switch upside down the button would drop back into position. Ordered a switch for $25.oo , installed it and the microwave is working fine.

needed to replace charcoal filter
How? I handed it to my husband. Done. Haha. He removed the screws, slid the grill aside, removed the old filter and slipped the new one in place. Replaced the grill and screws, viola'! Quick and easy. No sweat, so swearing. Thank you for a simple solution. It was a pleasure.

Microwave Interior Lamp Went out
At first I thought it was just the bulb, but I wasn't able to find a video of the exact model. The dificult part was figuring out how the vent housing came off (turns out it slid to the left then lifted out) but after I figured that out, replacing the cable assembly and the bulb was really easy.

Bulbs blew and disintegrated when removal was attempted
Unplug appliance, Staring from the rear sides, remove the four side screws. Remove the left and right front screws and finally the front center screw. The bottom panel hinges down toward the rear . Unplug the input wires from the sockets . Unscrew the two retainer screws (one each) and pull the sockets out of the panel. Note that the retainer screws are shouldered. The shoulder fits through the elongated slot in the socket. Screw the bulb into the socket and insert through the mounting hole. Insert and tighten the mounting screws. Note that the sockets may appear to be a bit loose. That's OK because of the shouldered screw. Don't over tighten or you risk stripping the threads of the panel. Plug in the input sockets and install the panel screws in the reverse order of removal. Plug the appliance in and test the bulbs.

No power to the microwave
Trouble shot first by removing the digital read out face plate panel, lifting it up and out. Found the thermostat housed on the bottom section (found a picture of what I was looking for). It had two connectors. Removed the connectors and noticed that the one looked burnt/melted that was on the thermostat. Took paper clip, connected it with the wires to bypass the thermostat. Plugged in the microwave and power returned. Yes! Ordered thermostat part and changed it out. The new part didn't have a piece that fit exactly into the floor of the microwave so I just made sure it was secure to the bottom. It is only attached by 1 small screw. Fixed!

The glass turn table coupler (drive) broke - no table turning.
Lifted off the glass turn table and just pushed the new plastic couple onto the drive post. The plastic coupler is splined, so just sit it onto the drive post and lightly turn it until it starts to drop and give a little downward push. That's it - about 30 seconds and the table is turning again.

Missing Coupler
When we moved into our recently purchased home, I noticed that the turntable in the microwave wasn't turning. I discovered that the coupler was missing and hoped that nothing else was damaged and that getting a new one would fix the problem. I ordered the part and it came the very next day, even though I got 3-5 day shipping. Didn't even have to unscrew anything to install it. It popped right in and the turntable works perfectly now.

both bulbs burned out
I used a phillips screwdiver to open the light cover protecting the halogen bulbs (2) both had burned out and needed to be replaced. A bit akward to replace, but within 5 minutes both were removed. I called your part service department to order replacements,(friendly and courteous service I might add!)was told that they would arive in about 3-5 days. 1.5 days later they were on my doorstep...They were promptly plugged into my GE underhood mounted microwave, now I am back in service! You've won me over and I will tell all my friends about you. Thanks again!
