Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
Freezer and food compartment not working!! Warm.
Spoke to Rep.Advised that several parts might be involved. Replaced 3 recommended parts and frig works like brand new. Saved hundreds of dollars in repairman costs.l. Plus $1000.00 for cost of new frig. If you can walk and chew gum at the same time? Easy fix. Very skilled Rep's!! Excellent service!! Great prices!! Highly recommend!!
Light switch wasn't working.. As I would close the door I would notice our frig light wasn't going off...
I simply removed the old switch by gently pulling down on the old switch with a screwdriver. When it was about half way out I just gently pulled down on the old switch and it popped out... I removed the two connectors attached to the old switch by pulling on the connectors with a pliers...I tried using my fingers but wasn't able to pull the connectors off so I used pliers. It worked perfectly.. When pulling off the old connectors, make sure you attach the new switch to the same tabs on the new switch... It was very easy to do and took under 5 mins.....The light switch works perfect....P.S. You should unplug the frig while making the connection just in case....Safety first....!!!
inserted a knife between the switch and the plastic interior in order to pop the switch out. then took off the 2 wires on the old switch put them on the new switch and reinserted the switch into the plastic interior.
Fridge was cold but not cold enough. Stuff in the front was too warm.
Replace the condenser fan motor. 1. Empty freezer 2. Loosen nuts that hold the back panel of freezer 3. Disconnect light and other wires (unplug plugs) 4. Remove the panel with motor from freezer 5. Replace motor, take the fan from old motor 6. Reassemble
I was told to order the run capacitor and the technician thought it would repair the refrigerator; but it did not. The appliance technician had to take the run capacitor off and install what he called a "hard start" and the refrigerator is operating right now.
The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!
Had a little trouble getting the plastic cover removed. Trick is to reach all the way to the back, put finger in hole behind the tab, and pull down and forward so it clears the little plastic locking nub behind the tab on the right.
Release tabs at right and left rear of cover and pull cover forward. Remove all hex-head screws. Release housing assym from screws in middle of assym. Defrost assym is at the back right. Unplug wire connector. Plug in new defrost assym, and set into place. Hook housing assym back onto screws. Replace all hex screws. Slide cover back into place. Done!
I first removed the freezer shelf, then the back internal freezer wall by removing the 4 screws with my nut driver. Then removed the fan cover, by releasing the clips (6). Then unscrewed the fan mounting brackets (same nut driver), then released the fan. The connector on the replacement fan was different to the original, so I cut both connectors off, and reattached the 2 wires with wire nuts. I then reassembled everything, and all is well. The refrigerator was successfully repaired
changed the light bulb still would not work so I figured it was the switch sure enough.
I took a chance and ordered a switch that is next to the top of the door. looked for how to remove it easily done in ten minutes works fine last long time.
