Ice maker leaking
Quite easy. Turn off water supply and turn off ice maker at switch inside freezer. Unscrew the old unit, separate the electrical connection, and pull it out. New unit comes with parts that do not fit my refrigerator, so visually examine the new and old units, reuse any needed parts from the old unit, such as plastic water ramp. Reconnect the electrical connector, and screw it back in. Turn water supply back on and then turn ice maker back on at switch inside freezer. Discard unused parts. Wait up to 24 hours for new ice cubes to be made.

left support was broken/cracked at rear rivit causeing ice bucket to sag
I used pliers to pull out rear rivit, and replaced new support.I had to straighten out the inside of my freezer side wall, with a hammer (front screw hole was bent inwards dew to the rear was broken and holding all the weight of the ice bucket).I did'nt have a rivit so i used a 10-32 screw in rear mounting hole. WORKS LIKE NEW

Freezer frosting up so bad it would no longer cool my fresh food
I had replaced the thermastst first because 40-50% of people this solved the same problem that I was having. Not only that it was only $10.00, my multi meter was broken so a $10.00 part was less expensive than a $40.00(+-) meter to test what was broken for sure. Well that did not fix the problem. I read all the "repair reviews" on here and found that more than likely it was my heater that was bad. So next time I defrosted the freezer I was able to get a peak at the "bulb" on the heater, it was BLACK! I ordered the part ($50.00) and was totally surprised how EASY that was to put in!! It took way longer to defrost than install this part! My wife came to see, saw what I had to replace, and said sarcasticly "have fun figureing out how to get that off!" She came back in 10 min and I was putting the back panel on the freezer, she said "where you not able to get it off!?" I did not say a word just handed her the burnt out one with a grin! That was about 2 weeks ago everything is working fine... Of course I replaced my muli-meter already, but never even used it on the fridge! Oh well I got my fridge repaired and a real nice multi-meter for way less than a repairman would have charged!

Water leaking form Duel Inlet valve
I noticed water leaking from the bottom right rear of the fridge. I figured it was from the ice maker feed as I don't have the ice water feature on this GE profile. I shut the water supply off, ordered the part and received it in a few days. The defective part was easily accessible after I removed the cardboard cover. I removed the copper feed and unscrewed the old valve with a nutdriver. The new part fit perfectly, and even though there were instructions in the part to use the old bracket. the plastic water feed fit into the ice maker compression fitting with ease. I ran into a problem when I re-installed the copper compression fitting on the new valve,as I could not stop a leak from the top of the compression fitting. When my plumber originally installed the copper line he used enough pressure to deform the compression sleeve that slips over the copper tube. I had a couple of them in my "parts" drawer, so I took my tubing cutter and took 1/2" of the end of the copper supply line; slipped the new sleeve and re-installed the compression nut over the valve....fit perfectly. Turned on the water supply; no leaks. Checked the icemaker about 4 hours later and it made the first tray of ice. If I didn't have to deal with the water supply leak at the fitting, the job would have been finished in 30 to 45 minutes.

The door would not close from half way open automatically
First I watched the video and everything on that video was correct. I took off the hinge cap with a Philips screw driver on the top of the refrigerator. Then I took out two 5/16" screws with a socket wrench. Removed the hinge and the door lifted off. On the bottom of the door took out one screw and loosened the other one and replaced the Cam Riser. Put everything back together and it worked perfectly.
