bought new left rail removed old one with a screw driver and replaced with the new one

Went to GE website and researched the problem for the model, determined that it was 90% sure it was the Ice maker, I ordered it and it arrived the next day, installed it and it began working immediately,

I found the drawer slide rail for the left side and ordered it. It was delivered in a couple of days and it was fixed in 3 minutes. Partselect provided the best customer service we have ever received. Great Job! Thank you so much!

easy part to replace, only 2 screws.

First I ordered a part that needed fixing. It came promptly and my son fixed in about 10 minutes. Then I discovered the slide rail was also broken, so ordered it and received it promptly. When my son was over yesterday he took a screw driver and removed the old part, replaced it with the new rail and all was bright a sunny again.

Removed drawer cover, removed both drawers, unscrewed broken part, installed the new one, put drawers and cover back.

watched a 2 minute video on installing the connector. Then using the utlity blade cut out a 1/3" section of the tubing and installed the connector. DONE! Leak fixed

I followed the video instructions. They were clear and consise. I removed the trim ring and controls. Them removed the housing and flapper. I did notice a small burr in the plastic chute and foam insulation. I trimmed this off with a utility in hopes this burr caused the flapper to warp. This is the 2nd time the flapper has been replaced in 1.5 yrs. The repair was really easy thanks to the video.

removed 2 screws from broken slide, then I positioned the new slide in place and using original screws secured slide to wall of frig.

I ordered the part and it was replaced. I always worry that I will get the wrong part or it will not fit. The on-line help with the model number gave me the right part, and this was an easy repair. Gusessing that I saved over $100 from needing to call a repair service!

The parts purchased worked perfectly and your write-ups explained what the typical problems are with this water leak that was occurring with our GE refrigerator at the nylon water line for chilled water service. Your description highlighted exactly what the problem was and the parts that I needed to make the repairs. This saved me a plumbing service call. All I had to do was cut off the nylon hose beyond the cracked area, apply the water nylon tube union joining the two hose ends and tighten the coupling at the unit.

Went well. Changed the Ice Maker and then the Water Valve. All good and it is making ice.
