Door handle was broken
Open the door completely. Inside of the dishwasher door, remove all of the screws that hold the panel. Remove the broken Latch assembly by unplugging the two electrical wiring connections. Connect the new replacement Latch assembly to the electrical connections. Position it as it should be. Realign the panel cover and replace all the screws! [**Be careful to not "strip" the the receivers that the screws go into. I would suggest to hand tighten with a screwdriver. ]

Broken Latch
Upon noticing that my latch was broken I removed the 10-12 torx scres from the inside of the front panel. After lifting up the inside panel, I removed the two floats from the latch assembly. I did not turn off the power at the breaker but did get a few volts in removing the float switches. When I received my parts, it took about 15 minutes to reattach the handle kit to the front panel and seal up the door. I did turn the power off at the breaker so there was no issue in stalling the wires and float switches to the handle assembly. I di order both the Latch and Latch Assembly that was shown in the picture without the latch. I was happy to see the latch already atteched to the latch assembly and I have sent the latch back for a full refund. Easy assembly and install.

Door kept sticking in the closed position, took back off dishwasher door and found the handle had broken.
I thought I'd be smart and go to Sears Parts and get the door handle with latch assembly. They had to order it, cost nearly $60.00 when I received it the handle was not part of the assembly. This really ticked me off, so I jumped on the internet, found Part Select that provided not only the handle with the assembly, but included the switches as well for half the price. Ordered it, three days later it arrived. Took less than 15 minutes to install the assembly and put the screws back in. Dishwasher is working like a charm. Thanks PartSelect for your prompt assistance with this. You've won over a new customer for future appliance repair parts.

Latching mechanism broke / door would not close.
Removed the 11 torx screws from the door panel and separated the inner door from the outer panel to expose the latch mechanism. Killed power to d/w, unplugged the two interlock switches from the old latch and removed it. Installed the new switch assembly and reconnected the switches. Easiest repair job ever - took less than 10 minutes. Only catch is that you need a T-20 torx driver for the screws.

Very hard to open dishwasher - Latch was broken
The repair was so easy. I just unscrewed the inner door panel , unplugged the old latch, attached the new and put the panel back. Thanks to all the other comments which gave me the confidence to attempt this repair. The hardest part was disconneting the old electric connections but with a little bit of "coaching" they came off OK. Thanks again.
