Quit making ice
As stated by others, I removed the screw in the ice tray. The tray then can slide out by depressing the two tabs. The rest is pretty obvious. Remove the screws holding the motor assembly on.

Definitely well worth doing it yourself. Parts aren't cheap. But, much cheaper than labor. =)

The contacts for the heater were burned out
The icemaker assembly came out after I unplugged the electrical supply and I cleaned the prongs on the heater and put it together and slid in the whole module back and plugged it in. Works like a charm. No tools were needed.

Ice maker was not making ice.
This is a different motor than the one for ice retrieval. This motor is very quite, even when it is working.
No other parts looked broken on the ice maker and the water dispensed correctly from the door, indicating it was available to the ice maker. I never heard the ice maker trying to dump ice. So I assumed the control module was malfunctioning. The control module wheel never moved.

I did not follow the instructions on the video exactly. Video was very helpful, pointed out things to be aware of.

The cover over the control module was removed. The screws on the control module were removed, after unplugging the refrigerator. The "ice maker stop" wire was removed carefully. The old control module was removed by pulling straight out. The new control module was installed after aligning main shaft, and screws reinstalled. The "ice maker stop" wire was reinstalled.
Plugged in refrigerator, the ice maker motor turned slowly. Soon water was dispensed in the ice maker. Before long (hour or so) I could hear the ice falling in the ice bucket. I have a full bucket of ice in the freezer, first time in a while.

ice maker replacement
After being scammed by a repairman who charged for repair that didn't work, then promised to order replacement, then said he couldn't get it, I was pleased to find your site. Ordered the part, watched the installation video, received the part within two days, replaced it in 10 minutes--it works perfectly. I only wish I had looked on internet before calling repairman recommended by my dealer.

Replaced icemaker control module
Simple repair and regret I waited so long to do it. UNPLUG REFRIGERATOR!! Remove cover over control module on front of icemaker by releasing pressure on the two clips and sliding cover forward. Loosen screws you see now with a Phillips screwdriver. Gently pull cover off and note where and how control arm slides off of your old module. Slide new module on reversing procedure and make sure you line up control arm in new module as it was in old one. Replace screws and then replace cover by securing clips. Do not over tighten screws. Turn refrigerator back on and make sure control arm is engaged in new module and should be in down position to turn on icemaker. Do not force if it is not. If control arm is all the way up and clicked in place, your unit is off. Gently pull down to activate it. Wait a few minutes and let icemaker cycle. If icemaker does not fill with water after about 5 minutes, prime it by pouring about 6 oz. of water into the icemaker and it should begin to work. Very easy repair and I had ice in about 90 minutes. Remember that many icemaker repairs are necessary because of the control arm being forced in some way by hand or obstruction of items in freezer compartment. Always give it room to work and be very gentle with it.

The Icemaker no longer worked
In the research, I found that the family was being poisened each day by teflon chipping off of the icemaker's tray, where the ice freezes and the icemaker had ceased making ice. I ordered the icemaker on a 2-3 business day delivery and it arrived in one day. That evening, we went to the site, and opened the instructional video from the expert installer. As always, i was skeptical of the ease of the installer's install. I should have been so skeptical, even though the model the installer was using was different, it only took about fifteen minutes from pulling out the fridge, to repair, to returning the fridge to it's cubby. I love PartSelect. I've used them for all types of pieces, including a great deal on the water filters!!

Stopped making ice.
I followed the Partselect how-to video on how to relace the icemaker motor and voila,2 hrs later I had ice.The repair took 15 minutes probably saved me a $75.00 service call plus the mark-up on the part.I liked the the fact that Partselect puts the percentage of the probability besides each part picture and discription. Having no experience working on an icemaker, this was a great help in ordering the right part.If I recall, the motor assembly was the culprit 60% of the time. I'm really glad I stumbled onto this web site.PS. The part was ordered on a Sunday and arrived by FedEx on Thursday.

HInge broke on fridge pull out bottom "Deli Drawer"
Remove the two vegi drawers on the bottom.
Remove the glass covering for the top of "deli-drawer".
Remove the entire Deli drawer from the glides and put aside.
Remove the broken side using the nut driver (3 screws)
Transfer the drawer glides from broken part to new part (2 screws).
Put back the new plastic side and re attache to side of frig (3 screws, again).
Put back the drawer in the glides, works like an office file drawer with "clips" on the end.

Your done. My kids could do it. All of the time is spent removing the "stuff" and cleaning all the "yuck" that you find once you remove the bottom drawer. Un screwing and re attaching 5 screws takes less then 2 minutes. Quit thinking about this and save yourself 100$ by NOT calling a repair guy.

not making ice, ice getting stuck and water spraying out
I ordered the parts by putting my problems onto google which got me to PartSelect who helped me pick out what I needed.
First the ice maker was making a loud grinding noise for days and then stopped making ice.
Also, the shoot cover in the dispenser was not closing, ice was getting stuck and water squirted out all over and made a huge mess. One day I got a small white plastic piece in a cup of ice water and knew that something had broken off. When the chute door would not close and ice was getting stuck...I knew I had to order the ice dispenser solenoid and door kit, even if I needed just the round circle that was the chute door. It turned out that it was that which needed replacing so my handyman and I watched the You Tube Select Part video on changing the ice dispenser solenoid. It was fairly easy and took 1/2 hour.
Next my handyman watched the video on how to change the ice maker, and he did so as such. When finished, we did not hear any action or water dripping inside the ice maker so my handyman wondered if anyone turned off the water...and since no body did, I told him that if I didn't have ice by tonight, I would call him so he could come back out and see why. But after dinner, I checked the ice bin and there was some ice. The water squirted out in a small neat stream and was glad to see that everything was fixed; and I didn't have to call a service company, which meant paying double the price!

The deli lid attachment broke off
Literally removed two screws from the old unit, removed the humidity control from the old unit and put in on the new unit. Put the two screws back in and put the lid back on.

Your service saved us over $100 in a service call to get the unit repaired. The information from other people doing the same repair was valuable information.

Thanks
