The tab that holds the cover to the drawer broke off on my wife
Remove the drawers above the unit as others have indicated and the glass top and then using a 1/4 inch nut driver remove the screws. Now it gets just a bit tricky as the air control knob under the top is a two peice linkage that is best removed as a single unit being carefull not to break off the tab that rests in the middle back of the refrig. Simply swing it out towards the left as you face it and it will become obvious its just a simple tab and once it clears everything comes out in one unit. The logic holding everything together is simply a matter of squeezing a couple of tabs to remove the back portion then a couple more for the inner right side. Re assemble in reverse order and take the opportunity to give everything a real good cleaning. My time of about 45 minutes included a real good cleaning of all shelves etc....happy new year and thanks parts select for getting the part to me in what i think was next day...Awesome service guys

Ice make wouldn't work to make ice
It was so easy. I loosened the three screws that held the ice maker on ( removed the bottom one ) unplugged the wire harness and the old came out. I repeated the process in referse and waited about an hour and we were making ice. The other thing that was so impessive was the part was ordered about 2PM in the afternoon and I had it the next day. I am very impressed. Thank you so much as now adays it is hard to find good customer service.

Hinge Snapped off of Pantry drawer lid
Simple- I removed the food, drawers, and shelving from the unit. I unscrewed the 2 screws holding the end cap on. Once removed I also separated the sliding track from the old part and put it on the new part. I then screwed the new end cap into place using the same screws as the old one. I put the shelves, drawers, and the food back in. All in less than 10 minutes.

icemaker didn't work
got the icemaker in 3 days, installed in less than 15 minutes, nothing happened-so I thought it must be the water distribution valve-I looked up the part and it is very similar to a valve I had purchased for our Maytag refrigerator-freezer at our lake cabin that I hadn't used-drove 20 miles roundtrip, after locating the valve and preparing to shut off all the water to the house (since the icemaker shutoff is in crawlspace). My dear wife suggested that I might want to check the icemaker first to be sure it hadn't started on its own-Idid, and it had-has been working without fail since then. Just needed some patience which I always seem to have in short supply!

Ice cubes were freezing together
Ice maker was leaking water into the bin causing it to freeze together. To repair I purchased a new Ice Maker part no PS2121513 for $101.00. I used the repair video to find out how to replace the part, the video was very helpful and enabled me to replace the ice maker in under 30 minutes. Once the new part was installed I waited 2 hours for it to start making ice, before the ice maker can operate the bi metal thermostat has to reach approx 14 degrees F. This can take longer than an hour so you have to be patient. I checked mine with a volt meter probes inserted in the T and H test points on the front of the timer assembly. If you read a voltage of 110/120 volts it means the thermostat has not closed. If it takes more than 4 hours it could mean a bad connection so turn off the power and recheck the plug in harness connections. If you do not have a meter you can feel behind the timer with your fingers to see if the ice maker cup or bowl has water or ice in it. Turn off the power first.

Ice maker making blobs of ice
Removed the old ice maker. Video showed clips holding ice maker in the Freezer. Maytag had 3 screws. Removed the old one added the new one. Nothing! Took it out and tried it again? Pinched the hose in the back did not see it. Took it out again. Realized the rubber hose had froze up. Turned off water supply removed the Rubber hose from back of freezer thawed it out. Put ice make back in place. NOTHING! Told wife I would wait overnight for it to make ice if it didnt, I would put old one back in to be sure it was a defective part. 4 hrs later, wife heard ice fall in the tray. Wished instructions would have said would take time for ice maker to kick in. Works like a dream.
