A water leak during the wash cycle
I watched the video and it was just a easy as the video stated. This part was stated as a common problem causing the water leak. I was doubtful after looking at the old part because there were no visible signs of wear, but decided to go along with the guidance and sure enough, it fixed the leak. It was a minor cost and an easy fix.

washer fillilng partially on it's own
Very easy as the water inlet valve is located on the back of the washer and it was a simple matter of shutting off the water, undoing water hoses, undoing water inlet valve which didn't even need to remove the back side of the washer and connecting the new part, water hoses and turning water back on. The hardest part was tipping the washer, my sits on top of the cold air return, and balancing on a milk crate. Very pleased with being able to do my own repair.

Leaking water
Follow the instructions on the various video's. They were all very helpful. Removed all parts (have a small bucket ready). Also, be sure to order all hardware for drain pump. It does not come with any, and depending on the age of your washer, you will need new screws.

water leaked from the cold water inlet. Must have been stripped. I just acquired the washer.
With the help of my 3 year old grandson, we removed the inlet hoses and inlet panel. The water inlet valve replacement was a perfect fit. All connections conformed to the original part. I had reviewed a video at the time of order, so was familiar with the process by the time the part arrived. The website was very helpful in determination of what was needed to fix the washer problem. Shipping was fast and tracking the package provided my schedule. I will utilize this site in the future.

The drain pump has a small hole in the top casing
I took the front off by removing the two Phillips head screws at the bottom. I leaned the washer backwards and blocked the front up about 6 - 8 inches. Next I loosened the three screws that hold the pump on. Then remove the belt. Now it is time to get the hoses off by taking the clamps loose. Wiggle the hose and pull them off. You need a small bowel and towels to collect the water in the hoses. The final step is to take out the three screws that you already loosened that hold the pump on. The pump can now be lifted up and removed. Replace the pump with the new one and reverse the procedure.

Washer was making squeeling noise
I first thought I would buy a new washer, however, after seeing the complaints that purchasers were having with the new models, I decided to repair my old 'trusty' Maytag. I first watched the video that showed the replacement of the parts and followed the directions in the video. Since the washer was old I also cleaned all of the pullies to remove any debris and grease that had accumulated on them over the years. After replacing the pump and belts I ran the washer and it sounded like a new one! I saved myself over $600 by repairing my old washer rather than buying a new one. They don't make washers like they used to.

Washer quit running when lid was closed
This repair took me longer because I was just giving it a try - I have no experience, although I tend to be "handy." I'm sure anyone with experience would rate this as "easy" and have taken only a short time. I had to watch the video several times to understand what to do - and the comments were helpful too. My washer is an OLD maytag, so I removed the front of the dash and pulled it forward to access the electronics. My switch had only 2 prongs, so I hooked up to the "lid closed" option on the new switch. It works perfectly now. Very pleased I gave it a try.

Water was running on the floor everytime we washed a load of laundry.
I watched a utube video showing how to do the job. It was simple considering I am not mechanically gifted. The whole job took about 20 minutes. The hardest part of the job was moving the dryer out of the way first.
