Installing the rack stop clip was, at first, very difficult, if not impossible.
Stared at it and deduced that the clip was not intended to slide into the track from the end, but that it was intended to snap in from the side. NO WHERE WAS THERE A SINGLE SENTENCE TELLING HOW TO DO THIS. And don't give me the old bromide, "Well, everyone knows how to do this." Nope, It is not in my DNA, so a sentence included with the clip in the package would have saved me time and pain.
Remove any pieces of the rear stop by prying it off the end with small flat blade screwdriver. Make sure rack is fully on the roller tracks and then carefully push the new plastic end piece onto the rack. Be sure to orient it correctly by checking the end piece of the other rack. I ordered two and replace them both at the same time.
Use of black/white pictures made it hard to see part details. Use grayscale insted. Also provide a schematic of the parts involved. The similarity of names made it hard to determine which part was being referred to. used magnifying glass and a lot of trial and error to resolve instalation problems. Second set of rollers went smoother.
Remove old rack adjusters. No removal instructions. Do one at a time. First requires some trial & error until removed. Install new replacement. Instructions not clear because pictures are dark & fuzzy. Again, install one with some trial & error. Second remove & replace becomes very easy.
upper left side adjuster assembly - the prongs that hold the wheels on broke off.
I disassembled the left side, and installed the new assembly. However, being older and my eyesight not the best, and had assembled it slightly out of position. After adding more light, a magnifying glass. and a much closer look, I found my mistake. I reassembled the unit. The right side only took about ten minutes. I would recommend a larger more visible picture of the unit. I noticed that the units did not roll as easily as the old ones. One must give a slight push to engage the tray into the back of the dishwasher. Had the picture been better, it would have taken only 20 or 30 minutes to assemble.
I had left one adjuster on but the new ones were different. I started great but when doing the top part I didn't line up the wire rack with the holes in the upper adjuster plate and found out it was wrong so I had to use the pliers to unsnap the metal piece where they lock in. Once I got the first one complete it only took about 5 minutes to do the other side. The pictures included with the installation sheet were very dark. A you tube video would have been a great asset. It would have made it very simple and easy. In truth, the second side should only take a minute or two because I was only using one hand. My other arm was in a cast because I broke it. Anyone could do this.
Roller mounts on top rack adjusters were broken causing rack to fall of the track.
Removed all the old adjuster parts. Laid out new parts for each side. Would have helped if pictures had been better quality. Figured out how the parts would be installed before actually installing them. Almost messed up 2 plastic tabs by not understanding how 2 parts locked together with the tabs and shoved them together too far on the trial run but, was able to get them apart without breaking off the tabs. The new parts are a stronger design than the original. The tracks work like a dream. I rated it a "Bit Difficult" because in the pictures I could not see enough detail, otherwise I would rate it easy.
I went on line as instructed by one of your representatives and found clear instructions how to remove old part and put on new one. It was an excellent presentation. It can be found at w10712394 instructions
I looked up a you tube video of replacement for model and part. the video gave consise, clear and easy to follow directions. Using the video it took about 15-20 minutes to easily do the job.(I had difficulty seeing photos and reading printed directions that accompanied the part.)
