Drive coupling would not come loose.
The drive coupling would not loosen even broke a wrench, a chea Sears wrench. I tried screw driver trick but only damaged the plastic housing. In the end I took a gringer to needle nose vice grips thinning the tip to gain assess to the drive shaft flates. Once I was able to hold the shaft the old coupling unscrewed, or what was left it. Yes I took pliers to it bending it out of the way to improve access to the shaft. My point of writing this is to suggest a thin wrench be included or offered as an option. A wrench of similar quality to that used on a dremmel tool to change the bits.

Lost a rubber foot on my Kitchen Aid mixer. The remaining feet we're hard and mushroomed. I decided to replace all 5. That was the correct decision.
I griped each foot with a pliers and twisted it out of its setting. I then set a new foot in place and hammered it into place with a small hammer. The feet fit snugly and did not need to be glued. Job was easy and mixer sits like new. I was glad I spent the money to replace all of the feet at once.

The drive coupling was chewed up from improper placement of the blender container.
I used the screw driver to pry off the chewed up drive coupling but it took quite a bit of prying to get it off. I sort of scratched up underneath the drive coupling doing it. Much easier to put the new one on than take the old one off.

Boken drive gear to power blender
At first I followed the directions shown on the video and was not successful ,due to not following them correctly .Once the part came ,I tried again after trying some of the other suggestions posted .Going back to video it took me about 2 minutes after spending another 2 minutes with the other methods .I am not discounting the other methods ,but will recommend the video ,a good stout straight edge screwdriver and patience. Also be sure to protect the painted surface of the blender base. All in all am pleased I did not have to go out and buy a new blender for $100 plus .
