The plastic driver for the blander blade broke.
Saw the video on how to repair it so I ordered the part and replaced the broken one. Very easy to do and it saved me the expense of purchasing a new blender.

the teeth on the drive coupling broke off
I ordered the part on line from PartSelect. It was very easy to locate the part and order it. The part arrived 3 days later. I followed the instructions that came with the part to use a screw driver to pry off the damaged coupling, then screwed on the new coupling. It took about a minute. The blended works good as new

Coupling broke into pieces making he blender unable to work.
To change the drive coupling, you will need a flat head screwdriver. Place screwdriver under old coupling and keep lifting it and unscrewing it at the same time, then finish unscrewing, my old coupling was a bit tight so I gently tap it with the handle of the screwdriver to help loosen it. Took me about 20 minutes. The online demo was great, which I followed, it seemed simple enough but when I tried it, took a little more effort prying off the old coupling but all of a sudden it became loose, then I was able to put the new one on. Buying that coupling saved me over $80.00 if I was to buy a new blender. Thanks for the demo, that was the most helpful without it I wouldn't have a clue how to repair it. It was really simple.

Drive coupling basically melts away.
Followed the youtube video. Very easy fix. Also came with written instructions with good pictures. What is sad is when this happened to our first blender- we threw the whole thing away. It wasn't until later when looking on the site that I ran across the part and realized the old one could have been fixed.

The drive coupling busted a pair of teeth.
Checked out the video that was shown before I made the purchase. The coupling also came with instructions and they were basically the same. So simple and now we have a blender for another decade. If only we all would just buck up and fix before we throw away.
