The disassembling and replacing the broken part went exactly as the directions.

Unplugged the refrigerator then removed two vertical screws on the very back back of the control panel (the ones with the washers). Do not remove the four other vertical screws in the panel. The front plastic plate on control panel snaps off and there are two horizontal screws under the plate. Remove them and the control panel will drop down allowing access to the light switch. Unplug the two wires (one black and one white) from the old switch. Discard the old switch, snap the new one into place and reconnect the two wires. Snap the front plastic plate back into place, plug in the refrigerator and you are done! Problem solved with a new $16.00 switch and saved at least $75.00 or more from an appliance repair call. followed video instructions... only thing done differently was to tape crusher blades together before removing from shaft and added a drop of sewing machine oil to all screw sockets before replacing to reduce rusting and create greater ease of removal if further repairs needed

I watched a couple of videos on your website about how to install a couple of parts that could possibly be causing the problem. Then I went and took the cover off of the area where the ice and water dispenser are in the door. I could tell from watching the videos which parts to look at to see where the problem might be. I figured out which part it was because I could see where it was broken. I then ordered the part. After I received the part I watched the videos again and then did the repair. VOILA! It worked. I put everything back together and the water dispenser was working. I was so pleased that I didn't have to call a repair man and I actually fixed it myself! My husband was so glad too.

The video provided excellent instructions on how to to this job. The hard part was removing the keeper ring so that the auger assembly could be separted from its housing.

I removed the top door hinge cover, removed the top hinge, pulled the refrigerator door off, layed it on the floor, removed the door cams, installed the new door cams, replaced the doo and top hinge and hinge cover. If you have this problem with your refrigerator door, be sure to replace the upper and lower cam.

removed front trim, removed plastic bracket, removed broken ice guide, installed new ice guide, installed removed items in reverse order, finished.

Removed screws from the back of the part in the fridge. Pulled old part out. Measured the old part. Cut new part to fit. Replaced new part and tightened the screws. Worked perfectly.

Just remove old one which was really easy since it was practically falling off and replace with new one. It is a bit tricky because you are afraid of breaking the new one. Watch the video and you will be more confident. I was REALLY impressed with the shipping. I ordered on Monday afternoon and when I returned home Tuesday afternoon it was waiting for me on my porch , and this was the week between Christmas and New Year when everyone was fussing about not receiving packages. NOT ME!

Watch the Video! My reefer's ice door/spring 'pin' removal and installation is different than what is shown in the video. That is, my spring 'pin' looks more like a long nail (with a head on the right end). After inserting the left end of the pin into the hole, the head end drops down into a notch, which makes removal and installation easier than what is shown in the video. It is much easier to reinstall everything if the 'ice-chute' is installed first. Then, maneuver the ice door assembly into place and install the pin. I used Blue masking tape to hold the control panel up and out of the way. This is the second ice-door repair since I've had this refrigerator. It seems to occur with 'heavy' use of "crushed" ice. Some crushed ice backs up behind the ice door/flap, jams/holds the flap open, letting warm air into the freezer, causing the crushed ice to freeze into a big 'clump' of ice (too big to come out of the chute, and causes frost in the freezer. If you get a clog like this, I suggest removing the ice "bin" and gently clearing the clog from the top side of the ice chute with tongs or needle nose pliers. If you try to remove the clog from the bottom of the ice chute, the door becomes dislodged or breaks...

Took socket out and replace it with new one. Very easy. W saved alot of money doing it ourself.

Watched the video provided, then followed that procedure. Everything now works fine, no more clicking.

Took ice maker out all together we removed 4 to 5 screws had to remove axel to get the broken piece out and new one in my husband said it was easy in and out in about 15 minutes saved about 150. 00 Thanks partslect

removed top drawer lift off glass top from second shelf bracket then lift out support bracket install new bracket and glass top job complete.
