Would not feed
Found auger was broken. Also found the ice cubes seemed too big and not breaking apart after the ice maker would cycle and dump in to the bucket. So I adjusted the ice cubes water feed timer making the cubes smaller and they are working real good through the auger now. Thanks for delivering the part so fast.........

The ice maker drum was totally broken and would not allow ice to drop and the crush ice mode would not work.
I printed your diagram of the complete assembly for reference when installing the new part. I was able to get the part number from the diagram and ordered it online. I received the new part in 2 days. I removed the ice from the ice maker's bin and kept it in the freezer. I removed the old drum and auger from the ice maker assembly and installed the new drum #4388736. I looked at your diagram to make sure I had all of the blades in their right orientation. After the drum and auger assembly was installed, I placed the ice that I had saved into the ice bin and slide it back into place. I then tested if the assembly would now drop ice and also if it would crush the ice, which i do not use very opten, because I know that using the ice crush mode will prematurely wear the drum assembly. The drum and auger gets much more stress when it is crushing ice. After the icemaker worked flawlessly, I rolled the refrigerator back into its regular position along side the cabinets. I was very pleased with the part and the excellent service that PartSelect.com provided. The price was less than I thought I would have to pay. Also, the company provides most of the individual parts of the ice maker assembly. Normally, when I would shop at a designated Whirlpool distributor, I would have to purchase the entire assembly costing 3 or 4 times higher than the price of the individual part. I, will now, always purchase my parts from PartSelect.com.

Refrigerator Door wont close
Followed the Partselect instructions - removed door, removed old cam and replaced with new cam. One lesson learned. There are two cams - one that sits on hinge below door and one that is up inside bottom of door. If you are replacing one, replace them both.

Both light bulbs had been replaced, but lights did not turn on.
I tried to remove the old light switch using a putty knife and a hammer. It was hard to compress the plastic tabs to pull it back through the hole, but all of a sudden, the lights came on. I guess banging on the switch freed-up the contacts. The new switch is now a spare part in case I need it.

Broke the arm off the food compartment rocker switch
After receiving the new part almost immediately, using two screw drivers, removed the broken switch from the plastic frame. Be careful not to scratch or otherwise tear the plastic...very pliable. Since the original switch was factory installed and the wires were packed in fiberglass insulation, the switch came out but the wires and clips were still in place and could not reach the new switch. It was necessary to pull them down with bent long nose pliers...used a lot of "pull" but the wires held up.Connected the switch, turned the power on and there was light! Reports from other users really took the uncertainty out of the task.

Broken plastic direct drive drum for ice-maker
My husband and I followed the instructional video on how to replace the "direct drive drum". We took note of how everything looked prior to dismantling the ice bin. We made sure we had the proper tools and a large flat surface to work on and started taking out the screws. Replaced the new drive drum part and put it all back together. The whole process took approximately 30 minutes and the ice crusher works great now. I'm a happy camper!!

Broken drum
I took the tray out of ice maker, removed the screws holding the drum assembly. Dismantling the drum assembly careful as possible and placing the new drum on place of broken one, it still took twice to get it workable. Probably the next time I will follow the instructions a little more closely.
