The top half of the agitator was not functioning properly
Well pop off the plastic cap, remove the nut that holds the agitator on and lify off the unit. Replace the cogs and return the machine to service. I was afraid to even look at this, what an easy repair. The parts were ordered and they arrived at my house the next day, no special delivery or extra postage paid, just prompt service from these folks, they ROCK!

The washer no longer spun during the rinse cycle
Many kudos to the folks who posted here. The instructions with the part didn't help much, but your comments did. I found it quite easy to replace the retaining clips using a pair of pliers at their wide setting to press the clip back into place. Oh, and when you tip the washer over, have a can of bug spray handy, you might be upsetting a black widow or two.

Repair is fairly easy.I got an email confirmation from Parts Select on the order I purchased .This included a link to the 'youtube" video repair instruction which I viewed. Note: a 10" extension extension socket adapter is a must to get to the 7/16" nut holding the agitator pieces.

It would not spin or agitate.
I googled the problem and up popped partselect.com with the part that was probably needed. The part was priced very low and shipped very quickly. After ordering on Tuesday I received the part on Friday. It was rated as being an easy fix. I watched the video provided and followed the video instructions step by step. The only hard part was snapping the motor clip back into place.

The washer failed while I was doing laundry. The first load completed it's cycle and the buzzer sounded. The clothes were very wet indicating that the final spin did not occur. I started the second load and the pump filled the tub but agitation didn't begin. The motor could be heard running freely (
After determining which parts seemed to have failed and locating them on the PartSelect website, I watched the excellent installation video and read some of the customer notes on their repair experiences. I then followed those examples. One thing was different for me. The shaft bushings on the new coupling parts were a tight press fit on the motor and transmission shafts and could not be pushed completely into place with my fingers. After starting them with my fingers I used a 3/4" wooden dowel and light mallet to gently tap the parts the rest of the way on. If this happens to you, be careful to keep the dowel centered directly on the metal bushing and avoid putting pressure on the white plastic(?)coupling body. The washer works like new again.
