Oven wouldn't heat and oven wouldn't light
I took the entire bottom inside of the oven apart except for the gas tube. The first time I did this it lit up, but it was so slow to heat. About 2 weeks later the oven wouldn't even light. I took the bottom out again and turned it on and held a grill lighter next to the gas tube and it was obvious no gas was coming out. I did some reading and found that if the igniter is not pulling enough amps the gas valve will not open, and that would explain why a couple weeks before it took forever to heat up. The igniter was on its last leg then died. So I ordered this part. It came in within 3 days!! Before I began the install I watched a few youtube vids on how to install the lighters and every oven they showed you just had to plug it into the safety valve. Simple enough right. HA!!! Of course I have an oven that Kenmore decided to make difficult. So..... 1) Removed the bottom cover inside the oven 1a) Turn off power to oven 2) Removed the flame spreader 3) Unbolted the old igniter 4) Remove the heating tray (not inside the oven, on the outside at the bottom, just pulled right out) 5) Find 2 wires from the old igniter 5a) My oven had only 1 wire going into the safety valve and another wire going into the power source 6) Cut the wires to the old igniter and remove old igniter 7) Bolt on new igniter and run wires down the hole 8) Cut new igniter wires to desired length (The new igniter length was too long in my opinion) 9) Splice the new igniter to the old wires still inside oven 9a) Top wire to gas valve, bottom wire to power 10) Reinstall all oven parts and hope you didn't drop too many screws :)

Oven would not heat up but the igniter would glow red
My husband is the repair genius. I just stand and watch but he had it fixed pretty quickly. Oven wouldn't work on Wednesday (holiday) when I had a house full of company coming. Had to use the oven in my microwave/oven/ convention/hood. Didn't think I could find a part for an oven that is over 10 years old.Could not believe that I ordered the part at 3 pm on Thursday and it arrived before noon on Friday and my husband had it fixed by 1 pm. You guys are great.

ignitor switch to oven was burned out
I am a 69 yr. old woman. I carefully removed old ignitor, keeping track of where everything reattached and how to reconnect. Had to strip the wires and reconnect. Very easy. From start to finish, less than 30 mins. Was so proud of myself.

Oven failed to heat
I started by watching a YOUTUBE video that gave me the solution to the problem (Igniter). The instructions that came with the part were fine, but the print was so small I had to use a magnifying glass to read them (Honest). It took about an hour to complete but that included the time I took cleaning the burners and area around the bottom of the over. I turned it on, and it has be working fine. It acually heats up faster than I was used to.

oven wouldnt heat up but stove top still worked
ge gas oven that i've had for over ten years without any problems just stopped heating up even though i could see the igniter glowing red. once i was able to determine or "lucky guess" it was the igniter, i pulled the power plug so i couldn't get zapped. i took out all the drip pans and covers inside the oven to access the igniter. i then proceeded to remove the broiler drawer and disconnect the wires underneath. two screws on the igniter and was able to remove the bad one. now working on my table i cut the wires off the old igniter and spliced them with the supplied wire nuts (x2). i also felt better wrapping them after with electrical tape for my own added security. installed the new igniter and reconnected the slide clips under oven ,put all of the drip pans, etc back in the same way it came out. plugged it back in and double checked all of my connections and made sure there was no gas leaks, and everything worked beautiful. cost me $50 for the part that took only 2 days to get after i ordered, and about a half hr of my time with basic handyman skills. thanks parts select!!!!!!!

Drawer would not stay level or move easily
The drawer dropped down and would not easily open or shut or fit up good when closed. A quick inspection showed that one of the rear drawer guides was broken. The parts were ordered on a weekend and they showed up on Tuesday. We already had the pots and pans out of the drawer. It took about 10 minutes to put in the new guides (I replaced the one not broken also), clean and lubricate the drawer slides. Good as new. The repair video, although not necessary for this repair, was excellent. Thanks a bunch!

Gas Heating Element would not ignite
Disconnected the electrical supply to the Oven. Removed Oven base heat shield by unscrewing thumb screws in the back of the oven. Removed secondary heat distribution plate from the gas burner by unscrewing two self tapping metal screws on the front of the plate and unscrewing the retaining nut in the center of the plate. Removed two stainless steel retaining screws holding the oven igniter, cut the electrical wires to the igniter removed the fiberglass insulation tubes from the existing wires and placed them on the new igniter wires. Routed the new electrical wires through the access in the bottom of the over where the original wires came from the control circuit. Reconnected the new electrical leads to the previous leads using ceramic wire nuts supplied with the igniter. Reconnected electrical supply and tested oven igniter to ensure it would heat and ignite the gas oven burner. Reassembled the heat distribution plate onto the oven burner. Reassembled the oven base plate. Note: Replaced the oven light during the repair cycle.

Original plastic drawer glides were broken.
With screw driver, popped out old glide and popped in new ones. Apparently there are some pieces missing that the front drawer glides slide on. I have not found a picture so I don't know what they are. partselect was very prompt in sending what I did order. Thanks.
