I watched the installation video and did just like it said. It was pretty easy. My ice maker is working once again, and I'm pretty proud!

Exactly as instructed by video on your site. The replacement took 10 minutes. thankyou Partselect.

Watched the online video and it looked just too simple.....so when I got the new unit I did not have to even change the wiring harness and I was totally surprised that the change could be so simple and easy! Trick is to follow the video instructions and DO NOT take out the two top screws but just loosen them enough to lift up the old unit and remove it! Cannot believe it could be that simple and easy.

Viewed the viedo - it showed what to do

watched video, followed the instructions and everything fell into place. since the wiring harness was not removable, I disconnected the harness from the the old unit and hooked it up to the new unit. put every thing back together,plugged in the power cord and turned on the water. water filled the ice maker and ice appeared in about an hour.

ice cubes are now being made properly and there is no more leaking.

Took socket out and replace it with new one. Very easy. W saved alot of money doing it ourself.

Previous to installing the new ice maker - I replaced the dual inlet water valve per the instruction video I found @ partselect website. That did not solve the problem <> I also adjusted the timer on the old ice maker down - per another video / which also did not solve the problem. Then I viewed the video on icemaker replacement - ordered the ice maker & 3 days and 15 minutes later <> the problem was fixed ! This web site is "fantastic" ! Thankyou partselect for your assistance ! ! !

Took ice maker out all together we removed 4 to 5 screws had to remove axel to get the broken piece out and new one in my husband said it was easy in and out in about 15 minutes saved about 150. 00 Thanks partslect

The instuctions say take the door off. I didnt find that necessary. Made sure the new gasket would fit. Pulled the old gasket out inline with the door instead of away. The gasket came off like an innertube on a bicycle. Installation of my new gasket was easy. I started on a corner hooking the lip behind the ledge and worked my way around the door. 10 min maybe. That's it

Removed glass shelf. Removed both crisper bowls. Removed broken rail and put new rail in! Hardest part was taking out all the items sitting on the glass shelf. Actual installation time under 1 minute.

Removed three screws. Discount wire harness. Reverse proceedure for installation.

Watch the u-tube video first ,Then read instructions that came with new unit ! so darn easy. unplug fridge, remove ice bin, clean and dry bin before putting back in service! stick flashlight in freezer loosen 2 top screws remove 1 bottom screw, unmount unit, unplug wire harness, remove icemaker and put on table, close freezer door !! , Remove sensor arm from old unit in down position and install in new unit. plug in new unit and reattach in freezer. replace ice bin and plug in fridge, that's it!, It took about 2 hours for the icemaker thermostat to say OK lets go had a load of ice in aprox 3 hours from finish. piece of cake. taped the door shut ,measured a block of wood and stuck it under the door for support.....unbolted bottom hinge,slipped on hinge bracket and reassembled.no muss no fuss.

Ordered new drawer. New drawer seems to be better than factory drawer (slightly thicker). Removed old, removed white handle from old (ran hot water over old to make it less prone to cracking when prying off), pushed old white handle onto new drawer, inserted new drawer, done. New drawer is great; better construction. Thanks.
