plastic door shelf/bin broke
It was easy. I just slid the new door bin into place. It was the excellent customer service that I received on the phone when I called to find out about getting a replacement part that impressed me. I didn't even know where to look for the model number but the young woman who answered the phone told me where to look and then she found the part I needed and I received it 5 days later and that was that. As painless as could be. I hope you have a record of who it was who helped me so you can give her a raise or at least a compliment. Thanks!

light socket burned out
snapped the wires from frig onto the proper prong and viola,it works. The proper prong is identified by the size because there are two prongs with the wires and two connecting prongs in the socket. I talked to a very helpful representative and she gave me the number for Frigidaire, when I was confused by the placement of the wire. Wish I had remembered her name to share with you. As it turned out I didn't need to call Frigidaire.

Primary Problem - Interior light continuously on
I ordered a replacement light switch and read the corresponding instructions. I changed the light switch in minutes with a plastic untensil knife to release the internal clip on the right side of the switch. Simply moving the wires from the bad switch to the new one, pushing it back in place, and the job was complete. The entire job was done without any tools. The other part ordered was a refrigerator door shelf retainer that simply snapped in place.

Ice maker quit working.
The two screws that held the ice maker in place could not be seen do to there location. I could only get one hand inside do to space restriction. So I placed a mirror inside so I could see the screw heads and from point it was very easy to see and line up the nut driver on the screw heads. I then lifted it up and unplugged the wiring and installed the new ice maker. Works like a charm. Paul

Found if I shut off ice maker ice wasnt building up on fan. Moved fridge out unplugged fridge unscrewed plastic nut. Turned 90 degrees. Replaced tube locked in place . Screwed nut back on .
