leaky pump seal and worn drive adaptor
The washer was going to be thrown away because of the leak, a new one was purchased. I said I would take the old washer and look into repairing it.I went online and saw a video on how to replace these defective parts, upon seeing how quick and easy this repair could be made, paired with the extremely small expense for parts ( 48.00 including shipping!), I chose to repair the washing machine. After the repair was completed, I donated the machine to a friend and spiritual advisor, an Orthodox Bishop.

Agitator wasn't agitating anything except my wife
Pop the top of the agitator off, 3/8th socket to remove the bolt holding the entire Agitator assembly, pull straight up to remove the entire agitator assembly, remove agitator dog assembly, pull plastic retainer holding agitator dogs in, replace agitator dogs, replace plastic that holds them and just put the thing back together. If it takes more than ten minutes you must have stopped for a beer break

Water leak from washer
I had previously verified the water leak coming from the washer water pump. This was prior to coming to your web-site looking for the part. I thought it was great the way I was directed to finding the part needed by the problem indicated, which directed me to the water pump 1st thing. I was also sent a instructional video on how the repair is made. This impressed me so much I shared it with one of my sons who volunteered to help with the repair. I'm a HVAC service tech and not use to having that much support. Greatfull for all your company's helpful service. I'll be sure to recommend as well as be a return customer. Sincerely, Dave Evans

Machine did not agitate
Followed the video did not need to tilt machine over. Layed on floor it was more comfortable. The most difficult part was putting back on the tension band on top that's because I got a little tired on the food. Thanks for all your help. I bet I saved over $250.00 if a service tech came to fix this. You guys are the best

Motor coupling broke
Once you take the housing off it's only two clips to remove the water pump from the motor, then two screws and two more clips to remove the motor itself. One issue I ran into was the new coupling was hard to put on, so the first time I did I overheated the motor because it was binding (was also very hard to get the motor back on). After taking it apart again, and slightly tapping both couplings with a hammer the motor went on very easy and washer works like a champ!

Top part of agitator was not working properly, just loosely turning
I got the agitator repair kit listed on this site (received it promptly just a couple days after ordering). Instructions were fine, but kit does not include a new bolt (not needed), as indicated in the video, nor does it contain the agitator grease. The bolt can be ordered from this site. I just used plumber's grease. Kit does include a new washer for the bolt and the rubber ring seal for the cap. The process is fairly easy, though, for me, the top part of the agitator did not snap together with the bottom, as seems to be the case in the video. I had to clean much caked on calcium carbonate (I think) under the agitator. Anyway, the washer works properly now. Thanks for quick delivery of the kit! Mark

Made repair did 5 loads heard bang and it was all over. The coupler gave out after all 20 years . The is something else that caused coupler to fail. I will keep at this repair and make it good. But in the meantime. I will purchase a new washer but. My wife wants her old washer repaired. So I better get it right. Thank you for the quick delivery of parts I will get all parts from you folks.

Washer would not operate without slamming the lid
Replaced the lid switch by pulling the washer out enough to gain access. Not necessary to disconnect the waster hoses. Remove the two screws from the white plastic tabs on the rear of the control panel. Also remove the two screws connecting the control panel from the washer body. Lift the lid slightly and pull the control panel forward. Disconnect the pug into the lid switch and remove the switch. Replace the switch but remember to lift the lid while doing so. Lid has a small arm that must engage the switch correctly. Replace the control panel and reinstall the screws. Repair is very simple.
