11064912200 Kenmore Dryer - Instructions

Repair was as straightforward and simple as the videos implied. The most difficult part of the repair was disconnecting the door wiring. It could be more plainly shown in the videos. After that it was simple. The cleanup inside the dryer, lint, etc., took as long as the repairs. An extra set of hands to hold the drum in place while routing the new belt over the drive pulley would have made it even simpler. Runs like a new dryer now.

I first examined the electrical diagram that came on the inside of the rear panel to determine where to check for loss voltage since this problem had all the tale,tale signs of a device not receiving power to turn on so I began at one end of the circuit and using my Fluke meter on the AC scale along with the electrical diagram found the thermal fuse opened.At that time I went to your site to see if I could buy this part and found you had it plus more so even though the thermo switch tested good I felt the need to replace it along with the thermo fuse as a set. I'm an electronic tech for a different type of machines but this was still just an electrical problem like the machines I work on daily.

removed and replaced element, super easy. used a volt ohm meter to check all other heat thermisters and fuse.

Took the back off, separated the heat element from the machine, marked all wires so they would go back to the original spot. Was not necessary since the clips were different sizes. Put in new part and reassmbled.

I felt the belt had broken since the unit was still running. I went on-line looked at some you tube movies to get some idea what to do. Was very helpfull. Found on-line how to get the part forb this nearly 20 year old dryer. Had the part shipped overnight, was able to track it. Followed your innstallation instruction, With the heavy rubber bands hooks at both ends it was easy. Never done this before, sure saved a good amount of money.

Took off back panel. Installed new heating element. Plugged back in. All like new! Thanks for the on-line info!

moved temp sensor from old element to new element, after marking wires for reconnection. Fairly simple.

Per the electrical diagram that was in the dryer , using a VOLT OHMETER I found the thermal fuse was open. Then ordered the part , arrived the NEXT DAY via Standard Shipping. Easy to replace .

simple .... took off the back put my meter on the heater coil. open circuit, pulled the heater, ordered the heater, two days later, heater came. installed the heater coil. total time about 25 minutes total off and on. no charge, I work for free for older people. save them money ordering from parts select.

After I got the top of the dryer open, I simply unscrewed and unplugged the old switch. Replaced it with new switch. Dryer started right up.

The replacement that was ordered was a perfect fit for the worn part and merely required placement into the lint screen area. The entire procedure, from ordering the part, to installation was amazingly easy. I would not hesitate to order future parts from PartSelect.

First off, I ordered the part around 1 pm, paid regular shipping, and it was here the very next day! As for the repair, maybe the easiest fix I have done. Make sure the dryer is unplugged, pop the top up and remove the front of the dryer. Take out the pulley (careful it can snap ya) then remove the drum. The snap rings around the motor can be tricky, so be sure to watch the video sent to you from PartSelect. With a couple of wrenches, loosen the motor from the blower and remove. Put new one in and put back together. Piece of cake. Took me about 20-25 mins. This is the best place I've ordered from and will continue to get my supplies here. Good Luck!

This dryer refuses to die and I am happy to keep it that way. Door latch was replaced in less than a minute using this kit. Easiest repair ever.

I replace the terminal block, wires , and dryer plug I unscrewed the back of the dryer and basically replace was burnt out. I was about to pay 200.00 to have it done but I looked on youtube and seen how easy it was so I just chose the site to order what I needed to be replace and it arrived quickly and more affordable to do it myself. This was an easy fix. No need to purchase a new dryer! I had replaced this part previously about 4-5 years ago. We wash a lot of clothes with our family of 5. Watched the video. Wires were easy to replace on the machine because it was logical (i.e. bottom wires attach at the bottom and front wires attach to front, etc.). Dryer was up and running fast! Part was shipped Monday afternoon and I received it by Wednesday afternoon with the regular shipping method. Altogether AWESOME! Dryer working like a charm.
