No Heat
Shipping from this site was quick. Use a 1/4" nutdriver to remove the sheet metal screws securing the back panel of the dryer. Removal of the element is easy once you look closely at the fastening system used. Have a vacuum hose handy to remove all lint while you have the back off.

Dryer would not start
My dryer is a KitchenAid KEYE660W (electric). I tried to start the dryer but it would not run. I did notice that if I held the start button down, I could feel light vibrations through the button. Searched through Yahoo and this site and determined that this is often a bad Thermal Fuse. Used the diagrams on this site to locate where it should be, removed the back of the dryer with a screwdriver, removed the two wires clipped to the Thermal Fuse and unscrewed the Thermal Fuse. I had a friend test the fuse with a Multimeter. It was bad so I ordered another one on this site and it arrived in two days. Screwed the Thermal Fuse back in and clipped the two wires back on. Started the dryer and it worked!!! Replaced the back of the dryer. This repair took 15 minutes MAX and taught me a little bit about Mulitmeters.

Won't tumble
Watched how-to video provided on PartSelect website. Most time was spent cleaning out the cabinet of lint and other debris. I found over 5 bucks in loose change! I Found pulling the belt over the motor pulley to be the trickiest. Note: my dryer will be 30 years old come this September. I wonder how many more years I'll get out of it!

The dryer sounded like a thrashing machine.
I consulted the internet and found Part Select and use online repairman to diagnose the problem and found the roller solution with the parts, video and parts illustration. Sure enough, the left roller hole was worn and egg shaped. I ordered the parts on a Wednesday afternoon. While I waited, I got all the lint from the bottom pan, motor, and around the burner cleaned out and ready for the new parts. The parts arrived Friday morning and I installed them and put the dryer back together before noon. The dryer works and sounds like a new machine. Now I am ready to attack the squeaky fan motor in the freezer compartment of our refrig.
