10650793001 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

I cracked the crisper pan after having the refrigerator only one week and needed a replacement ASAP!! I was so happy to find this site and the part I needed. It's a little pricy for a plastic drawer but I can overlook that since it was in stock and I received it the very next day!!!I took out the cracked pan, slid in the new one and I was done!!!! No more unsightly crack!

Its the easiest repair in the world to do. Took less than 15 minutes. Removed the Icemaker unit from friedge, removed 3 screws replaced motor (very easy to do), 1 hr later I had Ice again! =)

My humidity control and veggie drawers were cracked and broken, I had shopped around but the price to replace them was too high and not in my budget. I came up on partselect.com while searching to find a more reasonable price. The price, service, delivery and customer service was outstanding. One of the drawer had been damaged during shipping, I called them and they sent another one free of charge right away. I had a very positive experience and I have added them to my favorite web sites.

I watched the video on how to make the repair. It was that easy. The hardest part was disconnecting the electrical. Once that was done it was a really simple fix.

Unscrewed bolts pulled out motor,unhooked motor,replaced with new motor,put back in and replaced screws..fairly easy..then we had ice that evening!

Video instructions walked me right thru it had no problems.

I found exact instructions on Youtube. Watched the video. Verified that my Control Bracket was in fact broken by partial disassembly. Ordered the part from PartSeclect. Received the part the next day (though I only paid for ground/standard delivery). Installed the part as described in the video using only two screwdrivers and needlenosed pliers within 14 minutes from start to dispensing water again. My water dispensing was interrupted less than 48 hours. Amazing!!! Thank you. It was fun, fun, fun.PaPa43

turn power off, take the little cover on front of ice maker off so you can pull ice maker box out easier, unplug the easy connector ,after this take square cover off you'll see control motor take 3 screws off pull control motor out change new one in ,put them back together.turn power back on .then now Ice Maker will make some after 2 hours .You will SMILING then say ,Oh Yeah. The online video shortened the learning curve, and the cut the repair time in half.

Removed and replaced retaining clip and installed a new strain relief. Parts arrived in 2 days from the time they were ordered. No problems whats-so-ever. Great doing business with Parts Select again.

Put part on /did not see warter come at first had to go a cycal then ice again thanks alot, danny repair guy whanted 46$ to look at part. Good job.

My ice maker has been broken since august 2011. I called my son in law, which is very handy, he looked at the broken ice maker, said he had no clue how to fix it, since its computerized. I followed the really great repair video on this site. I would not have been able to do it without the video. Thanks very much for the video. Once I had the front panel off, it was relatively easy. Definitely would buy here again and attempt repairs myself. Very good experience! Very happy.
