Blades in icemaker would'nt turn
I removed the ice bin to clean out the ice when I noticed the broken part under the bin. I went to my local parts supplier and was told I had to replace the entire bin and assembly for about $185. I found your web site and recieved the part the next morning for $17 including shipping. It was repaired in 5 minutes. Thank you Parts Select.

quit making ice
I watched the video on your web site and did exactly what the video showed. I could not a get an appliance parts shop to tell me how to test the sensor, so I went on your site. It not only showed me how to change the sensor,it showed me how to test the sensor in my refrigerator. I have changed ice makers before, but never the sensor. Your site saved me $75 dollar service call and saved me $35 dollars on the part. Thank you very much!!!!

Ice Maker would not produce ice.
My ice maker would not produce ice. I removed motor module which involved removing ice maker from freezer, removing motor module cover and 3 screws. I found short (burnt place) in copper of existing module. Ordered new motor module, replaced, and all is fine. Great service, quick delivery and correct part.

Icemaker wouldn't drop ice cubes into bin
I first removed the icemaker service door by separating the door pins from the hinge sockets. Next, I removed a 1/4" screw from under the right side of the icemaker that retains the icemaker and a “U” plastic clamp. This clamp straps to the icemaker from behind. Then, after partially sliding the old icemaker out, I struggled somewhat decoupling the wire connector because it was frozen. After disconnecting the wire harness, I then removed the defective icemaker.
The next step was, with the same 1/4" ratchet wrench, I removed the 3 screws from the bracket on the underside of the icemaker. I then proceeded to attach the same bracket to the new icemaker.
Next, I connected the electrical connector at the right side. I struggled a little bit sliding the new icemaker in because the water cup assembly on the new part was taller than the old one and thus bumped into the water delivery tube.
You then reverse the procedure for installation.
Finally, before operating the icemaker I turn the icemaker switch on and turn off the power to the refrigerator for about one minute before turning it back on, while the freezer door was closed. Within 5 minutes, the icemaker was working properly and within 24 hours the ice bin had been filled.
Good Luck!
