I ordered a regulator and pilot thermo couple for an Estate 20'' mini range. Not knowing if either of these parts would fix the problem, I replaced the pilot thermocouple first and tested it... No dice. Replaced the regulator next. Tried it no dice again. Almost gave up, but decided to take off the knob for the range and pushed the brass fitting in while trying to light the pilot in the oven. Finally a sound emerged and a flame could be seen. Put the oven knob back on and turned it counterclockwise to 400 F watching the flame light up across the I don't know what it's called. $120 bucks in parts versus having someone come out for a $125 service call + labor and parts. Probably saved about $250 bucks doing it myself.
