Door lock was in the locked position and door could not close
I bought a new door lock for 132 dollars (item number PS2037196).
Ultimately you have to get to the inside of the machine where the door lock is located in order to see if you will need this door lock that I bought.
DISCONNECT POWER FROM MACHINE.
First take off the top by taking off the 2 screws on the back of the machine.
Second take off the control panel, I believe there are about 5 or 6 screws for that. (there's also a screw when you open up the detergent compartment on the bottom left- also, a lever must be pushed in order for the compartment to come off- it MUST be taken off).
Third unscrew the top of the front white plate.. there should be a 5 or 6 screws for that. You don't need to take off the entire front plate.
Finally unscrew 3 screws that hold the door lock in place .. make sure your hands is in the machine- the back of door lock to catch the lock when you're on the last screw.
Gently take out the door lock from the side with the cables attached by holding the white metal door open (it bends).
Try to pull on the bottom of the door lock (its a manual release). If it doesn't release you need to buy a new door lock like I did... if it does release then you don't need a door lock and just reassemble. (Note: You can also try plugging in the machine and THEN pulling down on the manual release. When I tried this the door lock just vibrated and nothing happened so I bought a new door lock.)
If you have the new door lock continue here:
Take out all 3 cables on the old door lock by pressing on the corresponding clips.
Attach the new door lock with the correct cables. Assemble machine back together.
Thats it.

Quarter was in the water pump
The repair was very simple I also broke the door latch when this happen as well to get the water out of the drum. Both components were very simple to replace and took less than a hour. My order was deliver very promply even a day earlier than I expected. Everything was correct and the price was well below any price I could find in town or on any other web site. I hope I never need anything else for this equipment but if I do this will be my first choice for the parts purchase. Thanks, Jason Frost,Texas

Broken lock needed replacement
The best way to do it is not the way I started. The best way is to 1st remove the bellow's front clamp with a small screwdriver at the spring. 2. unplug the 3 sets of wires attached to the lock. 3. remove the 3 screws on the front that hold the lock. 4. remove the plastic ribbon harness that attaches to the lock. 5. remove the old lock. 6. install the lock back carefully moving aside the cables. 7. install the 3 screws. 8. attach the ribbon harness. 9. attach the cables. 10. replace the bellow. 10. replace the clamp (here you may need someone's help to keep the rubber in place.) 11. the last part to fall in place is where the spring is. 12. If you can't do all by tact then you may want to remove the 3 screws from the top cover to be able to c where all fits.

Door latch would not lock
Removed 2 screws from rear of top that hold top of washer in place, lifted top at the rear and slid it back then lifted it off. Removed the three wiring harnesses from old switch, removed the three screws holding switch in place, theses are accessed from the door opening. removed the two lower screws first and held the switch from the top while removing the last screw. Placed new switch in place and started the top screw by hand followed by hand starting the remaining two screws, tightened screws with phillips screw driver, reconnected the three harnesses, reinstalled the top and secured with the two screws. Door locks and unlocks as it is supposed to.

Door hangs down so you have to lift it when closing. Eventually the whole latch mechanism broke.
Pull washer away from wall and find two screws in back next to top edge. Undo and pull top of machine off (lip on fron edge under face cover). reach down and unplug three plugs on door latch small one on top, biggest on bottom. Unscrew the three screw holding the latch on the front of the machine, take out the old and put in the new. Note, I pluged in the plugs before screwing the new one in place, and that might be easier. Put the top back on. I couldn't find any way to adjust the door, so you still have to lift it up when closing.

Door would not open.
It takes 2 people to do this repair. The bellow is the hardest part. One person has to hold the bellow in one spot, and the other person has to put it on the rim of the drum all the way around. Sort of like putting a tire on a bicycle. Dont do what I did and pry the door open. If you do that you will have to get a new door lock control at $54.Take off the lower front panel and reach up to the manual releace tab on the right side and pull down. Please make sure that the power is turned off, unplug the washer from the wall for your safety. The door switch itself is easy to replace, 3 screws, 3 plugs. Hope this helps.

Door would not latch , and lights on front just flashed
1)I removed the bottom front panel, reached up the right side of the machine and pulled the manual release on the bottom of the latching mechanism.2)I then removed the top to the machine in order to gain access to the latch. 3)I removed three electrical connectors then the three mounting screws using a #15 Torx driver. I then reversed the reverse procedure to install the new latch. total time to do the job was less than half an hour. Machine works OK.
