My microwave inside light and inside vent fan does not turn off when I shut the door, even when not in a cook mode and everything is room temperature. Would this be a likely culprit?

Hello Leo, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the reason for the light and fan to keep running in a microwave is a faulty door switch. We would recommend checking the door switch, part number PS10057151, to fix the issue. It prevents the microwave from starting when the door is open. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
