There was a pin size hole in the tube.

It was pretty easy to install. The most difficult part was trying to get my hands into the small area to work. I had to use both hands, one to push the release in and the other to pull the tube out. Once I did that, inserting the tube was easy and everything worked perfectly.

Two problems: The door made a loud snapping noise when opening and closing, and the water supply line was leaking at the wall valve.

In all honesty, watch the videos. They walk you through step by step and provide excellent instructions. The only comment I will make is that in my case, the snapping sound when opening the door was caused not so much by wear, but by the bolt holding the cam being loose. I decided to order the lower door closing cam because I figured there had to be some wear after all these years, and as long as the door is off I may as well replace it. The part is reasonably priced and well worth it. My only deviation from the video is that I used removable LocTite on the bolt when reassembling. Everything is smooth and quiet.

We had a water inlet line spring a leak

First I tried repairing the but that did not work, so I looked online and found partselect.com, put in my part number and wammo! There it was, the same exact water inlet line, and reasonably in-expensive. I ordered it and it got here pretty quick.
