Typed in model number, got the wrong part
Returns seem easy at least. I typed in my model number, it told me the part I needed - turns out it’s the wrong part, so I have to send it back, and since they don’t carry the correct part, I had to order from else where

The user manual calls it a "temperature sensor." some call it a "thermistor". Other site calls it "assy sensor level; dmr78 and don't show any thermistor. I suspect the sensor level refers to the water level not temperature. There are four sensors in some schematics and they all pretty much look alike in the diagrams. The user trouble shooting information code (lights) says "temperature sensor error" but not "heater error," or "high temperature heating error." other than an attempt to discourage dyi activity, why the apparent obfuscation of part information by Samsung.? ron
For model number DMT300RFS/XAA
Hi Ron,
Thank you for contacting us. That would be a question better posed to Samsung directly. We cannot speak on their behalf. However, this part looks like it is the correct thermistor for your appliance. I actually only see one of them inside of your appliance. Near your pump assembly. The other four sensors you see there are indeed water level sensors. Good luck with your repair.

Auto/heavy lights blinking. Unit will not start at all. I flipped the breaker and this worked one time. All i can come up with is a faulty thermister. Please help.
For model number DW80J3020US/AA
Hi William, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Thermister with a multi meter before having it replaced. You can check for continuity. If the thermister is good, you may need top replace the control board. Hope this helps!
