This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Used needle nose pliers to pop end caps off and remove broken axles. Popped new rollers and axles on rack. Then replaced end caps. Less than 15 min. Easy fix and saved the expense of service call.

I put the new cap in. POC.
Used screwdriver to pry off old end caps, then slid the rop rack out and replaced the broken rollers with the new rollers. Put the top rack back into dishwasher on its rails and put new end caps on ends of the rails. Job finished! Total time 10 minutes. Easiest repair I've ever had to do!
I pried out the roller channel end cap then removed entire basket. The four rollers were installed and snapped back into place. The roller channel end caps were then replaced and the basket is just like new.
parts fit right and job went smoothly
Last time I had to replace a rack roller, I broke the end cap trying to get it out. This time I watched the repair video at Part Select, followed the instructions, and voila. Used a screwdriver to bend the tab on the end cap and took it our at an angle, removed the other end cap, rolled the rack out, unclipped the roller, clipped the new one on, replaced the rack and installed the new end caps with a push in design. Done.
Popped in the part
Removing the end cap required some force and because of it's age and the amount of heat it has seen it broke right awayI ordered new ones for each side because I thought this might happen. The new ones went on by lifting the inner tabs to snap into the rail.Changing the rack rollers was very easy and took minutes. Use some vegetable oil on the rollers to get them to move easier in the rails.
Removed old end cap and then easily slid replacement roller in place on top right rack slider. Took time figure out how to get end cap to fit, but finally it worked.Worth it!
first i see if i could move the metal piece it wouldn't move si i used a flat head screw drive to fix it . the end piece was to long so i cut a piece off it fitting it is not moving
It was amazingly easy to repair, I popped the old attachments off and snapped the new ones on in less than 5 minutes, I wish I had fixed my dishwasher earlier, had I known I could repair it by myself!
First I removed the older/broken rack rollers and very easily inserted the new rack rollers. Then I used a pliers to widen the rail end so the cap could fit in easily. Once the rail end was widened it was pretty simple to replace the rail end cap and pinch the rail end back into place with the pliers.
Super easy..........just push it on and it should snap in place. No tools required!
You need to carefully take off the end caps (which I broke), pull off the rack rollers/ snap the new rack rollers on, and carefully place the end caps back on.
The end cap snapped into place perfectly without any problems and the rack works like new again. This is the second time I have used PartSelect.com and I am very satisfied with how fast I recieve the product and the easy of finding what I need. I would recommend them to anyone!
