Ice maker will not release ice or fill with water, replaced just ice maker not wire harness; thinking the heater wasn’t working then replace water valve .. checked the water line it’s clear.. what could this be?

We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: water inlet valve, temperature sensor, the evaporator fan, the condenser fan, the water filter, and the ice maker thermostat. I replaced the dual valve have water to the water dispenser the ice maker is not filling the ice tray

Hello Ronald, thank you for your question. If the water valve was just replaced but the icemaker is not filling with water after 24 hours of having the new valve on and the icemaker on, the icemaker itself probably has to be replaced. Some icemakers can go through a test cycle to verify it is the issue. Here is a link that will provide some testing information.
