Under belt was used and ready to let go..

First I am a woman and was able to do it, and if I can do it anyone should be able to do this. The service call alone was 75.00, and the belt was 23.00 with shipping. First we tilted the washer at a 45 degree angle and I removed the belt, and just rolled the newer one on the track. That was it and I was done. My washer now purrs like a kitten love it. And Part Select sent out my part and I recieved it next day, thank you for wonderful service that kind of service is hard to find. <3

Drive belt broke

pulled out the washing machine that was the hard part, tilted it back checked too make sure everything spun by hand just to see if that was reason for the belt to snap but everything spun by hand nice and smoothly poped on the drive belt and everything works fine back in business.

Broken belt and motor pulley

Repair was very easy. I removed the old pulley from the motor shaft by breaking it. And then tapped the new one into place. It works great. DON'T buy a new motor for $120, just replace the pulley $6. This whirlpool pulley fits the Admiral motor perfectly!

Wtaer discharge pump was "frozen" solid.

Not knowing what I was doing, I just started taking the machine apart. Finally, turned the machine on it side and found the belt barely holding together and I was not able to move it. When I removed the belt I discovered that the discharge pump was stuck. Therefore, I also removed it. Everything else seemed to work. When I order the new pump along with a belt, I was glad to see the description of the pump included the pulley. When the parts came they where exactly what I needed and I was able to install them quickly and but the machine back together with out have any extra parts left over.

Drain pump making noise. Brass type spacer was crack and hitting the main body.

First removed the top using a putty knife to compress the two clips on front of top. Removed the two self tapping hex head screws at top. Lifted front cover off. Tilted machine back to discover the problem. Removed back access panel to drain pump. Removed pump and replaced with new one. With the machine tilted back, replaced belt.

Also replaced a badly faded control panel. The trick to removing the timer knob was to gain access to the back of the timer. A blue pin is located in the middle which has a shaft the runs into the knob. Using a small screw driver, just pull the pin out enough to release the knob. It does not come all the way out. I had a little difficulty removing the water level control knob and water temp knob. After carefully removing the knobs, I put on a little pressure grease to make it easier next time. Good luck on your repair project and hope this helps too.

Belt was shredded

I turned washer over, took off old shredded belt. One of the pulleys is spring loaded so I just held it in as i looped the new belt on. Easiest repair I have made on a washer!

My washer had stopped turning. It wouldn't wash or spin but the moter was still working.

We're not repair people. So when calling around for the replacement belt no one had it. Everyone said that the belt went to a dryer. We simply inspected the machine. Located the worn belt which was on the bottom of the washer machine went online and ordered the belt. Thank you so much you guys really saved me. I will always recommend you all to everyone that I know. Your system works Great! Thanks Part Select!
