The parts that I ordered from PartSelect were just what I needed. On the previous auger the screw that fastens gear to the auger had sheared and the auger was impossible to rework. The new parts were somewhat difficult to assemble without a set of instructions or a diagram showing the location of the various parts. My suggestion is to carefully document the location of the various parts before you attempt disassembly.

The motor runs but does not turn the auger in the ice bucket and thus does not dispense ice. Problem seems to be in the lower assembly in the door.

Hi Dennis, thank you for your question. If you are looking for the problem down in your dispenser control area, then you may want to take a look at the microswitch, and the control board for your dispenser. If those parts are fine then the issue might actually be motor itself that is the issue. Good luck with your repair.

Why am i not getting ice from the bin

Thank you for your question. If ice is not being dispensed from the bin, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the ice door kit, the ice maker, the ice auger motor shaft, the top ice crusher coupling, the seal, the water inlet valve, the dispenser motor, the water filter, the water fill cup and bearing, the auger, the cycling thermostat and the holder.
