How do i get into this area without damaging anything? Thank you crawford
For model number ATF8000FS2
Hi Crawford,
Thank you for your question. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the control board. The washer in the video may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS11750306. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The washer started, I heard a different noise after about 8 minutes and now it just starts to agitate for 1 minute, the display goes blank and shuts off. Can it be re-started? Smelling an electronic part burning smell from the area around the control board. Pretty sure that is the issue? What’s your return policy?
For model number FAFW3518KR1
Hi Barry,
Thank you for your question. If you are smelling a burning smell in the area of the electronic control board, the board may have shorted and you will need to replace it. We have a 30 day return policy. Here is a link to our policy, https://www.partselect.com/Thirty-Day-Returns.htm. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My machine completes the wash cycle but pauses and wouldn't begin the spin cycle automatically i have to press the start button for it to spin and complete the load. What part is most likely to cause this problem. Thanks in advance
For model number ATF8000FS1
Hi Rogelio,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is not spinning, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the door lock switch, the shock absorbers, the drain pump, the drive belt, the motor control board and the door strike. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
