Broken washing machine vane
Totally unable to move old vane using instructions on this site. Wound up breaking old unit in pieces to remove. Installed very easily. However when trying to install enclosed screw (which you are supposed to install through vane into tub) it did not line up even close to hole drilled into tub. I had wondered why the original vane didn't have a screw in it, now I know.

Drum vanes broke
placed small plillips screwdriver in center hole of old vane and pulled vane toward front of washer and lifted up out of slots. (You need to press down tabs in center of drum slot to insert new ones) Placed new vane at front of slot and squeezed togeather so both sides went in slots and with screwdriver in center hole of vane pushed to rear of washer till vane locked. Incerted screw that came with kit to hold in place DONE.

Vane broke off inside drum
Inserted new vane into slots in the drum. I then held the front of the drum while I slid the vane tabs in place by pushing the vane to the back of the drum. Once the vane was in place, I screwed in the screw that came inside the vane kit.

Drum vane broke
The part ordering and arrival was very easy and fast. Problem with the directions on removing the damaged drum vane. They were not clear directions. Once I figured out what needed to be done it went easy
