Vent Grille fell off when opening door on microwave
Removed 2 screws that were holding broken plastic tabs. Lined up lower plastic tabs on new grille into slots, gently. Tipped forward to engage upper tabs into slots. You need to "gently" press the top into place to avoid breaking off the tabs! Replace 2 screws, and hand tighten with Phillips screwdriver. Easier to see what you're doing with the microwave door "open". I felt "accomplished" for a 70-year old Grandma.:)

Microwave Vent Hood Filters
Not so sure this would qualify as "instructions", but I only needed a screwdriver because the "D" rings of the old vent filters broke off and I had to pry to old ones out. Keep in mind, I am mechanically disadvantaged and can barely change an A/C filter ... that being said, all I did for this order was input my Model number and PartSelect found the correct replacement part. I receive the parts super quick (faster than the other 2 purchases I did that day). The only bummer was the packaging ... super huge box for small tiny parts. Otherwise, I now know where to go for replacement parts. This project should be a "no-brainer" for most DYI's, so getting the right parts with just a model number was lifesaving for me :0)

Replace charcoal filters in microwave - vents inside.
Remove the screws holding the bottom vent plate to the upper unit, using a Phillips head screwdriver. Loosen a front screw last, but don't remove it. While supporting the plate in one hand, unscrew the final screw with the other. Lower the front of the bottom plate - tabs in the rear will prevent the plate from falling out. Bend the outer tabs holding the old filters in place, to allow them to be slid out. Insert the new filters & bend the tabs back into locking position. Raise the bottom plate and finger tighten a front screw. Replace and tighten all screws. This is also a simple way to remove/clean/replace the mesh filters. I've pulled the D-rings off trying to slide them out from below.

The opening was very tight
It was supposed to be a very easy replacement, but when inserted the legs in the bottom openings, the legs at the top didn't enter the opening. If insert first the top legs then the bottom legs could not go in. Tried to put a little force when turning grill to enter the top legs with the screws support. Finally very carefully put first the top legs, entering horizontally, and then giving a little push (forcing) the bottom legs in. This was not supposed to be this way, because I could had brake the bottom legs clip.

Cracked handle
Well, to get to the screws for the handle, the door "choke" had to be removed, which was difficult, until I read that you need a putty knife. But I had already tried to take the old one off, and it was brittle & cracked, so I also had to purchase the "choke"/frame. Once the parts arrived (within 3 days!), installing them was easy, but then I had a problem with the door. It wouldn't shut correctly, which made the microwave shut off intermittently during use. So I had to determine which of the latch catches had the sensor. (It was the top one.) I tried adjusting it without any disassembly, but it fell out & down inside the oven. So I figured out how to get that part of the oven open. I had to remove the upper grill and the touch panel. Once those were out, it was easy to retrieve the latch catch & install it correctly. I reassembled the oven, and now everything works fine. This oven was manufactured for Sears by Whirlpool over-14 years ago, and has been very reliable, so I'm not complaining. Interestingly, I looked at new microwaves and found a Maytag model (also made by Whirlpool) almost identical to the one I have. I examined it and found that the door, touch panel and grill are almost identical and use the same parts as mine!
