broken timer knob on ge profile washer
could not have been easier. It took a pair of pliers and a few minutes time to remove the remaining portion of the old knob from the spindle. Then simply push the new knob into place.worked perfectly
Water leaking out the bottom of washer during fill
Removed back cover. Opened top lid - slid putty knife under front lip to release latch (2). Removed old valve hose and clamps. Replaced with new valve hose and new clamps. No more leaking during fill.
Before I bought the new knobs, I put nail glue inside each knob to strengthen the knobs. It lasted for about 6 mos and I would have to do it again. Needless to say I got tired of the broken knobs, so I bought new ones.
Once I found your web page things went very smoothly and quickly. It was exactly what I wanted and it even came a day early. Obviously, no problem with the repair just put the knob in place.
Searched the internet found part select had the best price-- 10+ dollars less than GE price. Knob arrived in 2 days and took me 2 minutes to reinstall with a small screwdriver to secure the clip that it comes with. Very satisfied customer! Thanks!
