Door switch was no longer making my light go on when door opened
I used the youtube you provided. It was pretty straight forward, but I had to make a trip to the hardware store for a bit (hex wrench) to remove the hex bolt head style screws. I was only expecting to need phillips or flathead. I managed to remove one with a set of pliers, and the brought that example to the store for size reference when buying the bit to fit my black and decker drill. The rest was easy.

pull off the old gasket and push on the new one into the channel...

Old door seal was cracked and didn't seal tight.
Pulled off the old seal and put the new one on. No tools needed. It fit where it was supposed to and seals the door like new now! Thank you!

Freezer froze up/ Fridge ran warm
Thawed out freezer, I recommend laying a couple old towels in freezer to soak up melted ice. Replaced old thermostat with new part. Removed 2 screws, removed back plate, unplugged 2 connectors and cut 2 wires. Crimped in new thermostat and repositioned to original part location. Reconnected plugs as I reinstalled back plate. Installed 2 screws and connected power. Works like new! Trouble shooting and part installation video is very helpful, great site!

Old gasket was torn and falling out
I removed the old gasket and cleaned the area. Then I started at the bottom and pressed the new gasket into the door. You must use firm pressure and go all around. It does get tricky hear the end as it seems like there is excess, but it will fit. Just keep using firm pressure.

Intermittent loud noise coming from fan motor located in freezer compartment

pulled back panel to get at evap fan motor cut wires to remove reinstalled hooked up wires

Fan motor in the freezer was not working. The freezer was still cool enough to keep the food froozen, but the refrigerator was not keeping the food cool and the liquids were getting warmer than normal.
Very easy process. Watch the YouTube video, it goes step by step for the repair. The part was $33, shipping was $6. Take your time and fix it yourself or pay $500 for a new refrigerator.
