Ice door flapper broke in half
I followed a video I found on how to take the front off of the ice dispenser ( to me the hardest part) Once I was in there it was a matter of removing the pin and spring, then putting the new flapper in place of the old. Hardest part in reassembling was getting the spring back where it belongs. After that it was a matter of putting the ice dispenser back together and testing. Works perfectly.

I removed the top hinge cover, loosened the hinge so I could remove the door and laid the door on it's side. I removed what was left of the Door Closing Bearing and istalled the new parts. Fridge was freezing items & freezer was not freezing items
It was simple... After paying $280 for a repair man to come out and install some unnecessary part to the fridge when I told him "everything on the Internet points to a thermostat repair." He disagreed, fixed the fridge and said the freezer would work more efficiently now. It didn't, so I bought a new fridge/freezer, put the old one in the basement. I ordered the thermostat (under $20), put it in, and now (knock on wood), works great and I have a beer fridge for the man cave
